That was the end of my positive experience. Days went by and no call back so I called them. Receptionist had no information on my situation or even a record that I called. Took down my info and days later no call back. I call again like I'm glutton for punishment. They schedule a visit between 10 and 11am to fix the shower door. 1145 comes and no call or visit. I call again. No answer except recording. They call back at 12:30 and tell me 1pm. Then call back and tell me 2 pm. Oooookay fine. So they finally arrive at 2:30pm (the same guy who came and took pictures) and go to work. The invoice does clearly state they aren't responsible if glass breaks due to my asking what if it breaks over the phone. About 90 minutes later and I go in to inspect. For some reason the installer flipped the door upside down and since the room isn't perfectly square a 1/8 difference was cut in door width top to bottom to get a nice square finish when it was originally installed. Flipping the door now causes a ridiculous gap at bottom and nearly touching at top. Here's the best part. They chipped the glass in the process and now I'm stuck with a chipped crooked door for $200 with no offer to fix in any way. I was so disappointed I just paid to get them out of my life. Cost to fix this mess? 700$ for new door to be cut and installed. I guarantee it won't be Marco doing the work. I would happily remove this review but they offered no solution other than me paying more.

    - Integrity and expertise you can trust!…read more I had a chance encounter with Joe from Joe's Doors today, and I cannot recommend him enough. He was actually just in my neighborhood looking for a different address, but in the process of helping him find his way, I mentioned how frustrated I was with my brand-new, noisy garage door. I told him I'd been using WD-40 to fix the squeaks, and instead of just nodding and driving off, Joe took the time to educate me. He explained that WD-40 isn't actually the right lubricant for garage doors and can sometimes make things worse. Without hesitation, he: * Went to his truck to grab the proper professional-grade lubricant. * Gave me a hands-on tutorial on exactly where to spray (and where not to). * Told me exactly what to look for at Home Depot so I could maintain it myself. It is so rare to find someone who provides that level of "above and beyond" service to a complete stranger without even charging a fee. Joe is clearly an expert who cares more about helping people and doing the job right than just making a quick buck. If this is how he treats a random person on the street, I can only imagine the top-tier service he provides to his actual clients. Support this local business! Thank you Joe.

Reliable, knowledgeable, easy to work with, good value. What more could you want in a contractor?…read more Joe's Doors was a standout among the 20+ contractors I hired during a complex, million-dollar+ renovation of a ninety-year-old house in Miami Beach. While the job was by far the least costly during the refurbishment, and also the lowest bid I received from garage door installation companies, it was essential for security and functionality. The installation wasn't seamless due to some manufacturer quality-control issues, but Joe was on top of the problem and had the components replaced by the manufacturer. Throughout the process, he diligently oversaw all installations. Even at the end, when I was willing to accept the flawed panel (a high bar, as I can be pretty demanding), Joe wanted it perfect. He went ahead, had the manufacturer replace the panel in question, and had his crew install the new panel, all on his own. I am pleased to give such a high rating based on my experience with Joe's Doors. It is well-deserved.

Jose looked at the issue and figured that the original installation used expanding foam while installing the marble, and it pushed the marble up. When Jose was unmounting the sink and faucet, he saw that the valves were glued to the copper pipe. The sink cabinet's bottom was barely holding up. Sergio fixed the marble and matched the missing pieces with Epoxy resin. Jose cut the valves and rebuilt them properly. He also built a new bottom with proper supports. Their initial estimate was great. They did not ask much more even though they uncovered more issues. They did an excellent job, and I am extremely happy with their work. You can hit your hardwood floor or marble counter with a pickaxe, and I am convinced that Sergio can make it seamless for you with his artistic skills. I highly recommend them.

I was initially impressed that they answered my request in just a few minutes since it was 10:30pm. In addition, Jose came to my rental unit on a Saturday and installed and painted the new doors to match the existing cabinet doors. This is a very reliable company that I recommend without any reservation.

But beyond that, they were honest, professional, and fast. For several months one of my properties has had a sliding door that has been extremely hard to open. I immediately Yelped for a good company working with sliding doors repair, and that's when Yelp came clutch and introduced me to Gil and Reliable Sliding Door's customer reviews. The moment I read what other customers had said about them I made my choice, and as expected I wasn't disappointed.

They took her doors off of the track, cleaned out the track, and replaced the wheels. The whole process took under an hour and the cost was $300, just as quoted. Now the door opens super easily. Sliding glass doors are their specialty and I would definitely recommend them to anyone whose slider is in need of repair!

These are clean, organized and communicative professionals. My project was small but complicated. We have an odd counter top extension that sort of hung out at a weird angle, we did not use and took up an entire room of the house (it is a small house). It was becoming a place for accumulating junk. This project required that they cut off a section of granite countertop and detach the extension from the floor. Then they trimmed the granite to a new length it so that they could reposition it with a CLEAN SEAM. Pacific Hurricane Shutters has rebranded to Dream Guard but I stand but what I said in my original…read morereview! Did you know your Hurricane Accordian Shutters need to be maintained yearly and WD40 is NOT the way to go? I learned my lesson after Milton. Sooo. I recently found myself in a stressful situation with one of my hurricane shutters stuck and in need of urgent repair. I could not open or close it, and one never knows when one storm will follow another. I was really worried that I would not be able to get my shutter repaired before other hurricanes threatened, especially since we are having such a busy season. The first company I called told me they did not repair shutters because they cannot get parts anymore. She said , "I do not thing anyone repairs accordions anymore." That statement ratcheted up my stress. In retrospect, I am sure she was trying to sell me impact windows. But I do not want impact windows. I paid a lot for my accordions. They work great, and there is no need to replace them. The next company I reached out to could not come out until the following week and gave me a very high quote. I then reached out to Pacific Hurricane Shutters DreamGuard and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. They responded THE SAME DAY, which was a huge relief. From the moment I called, Andressa, who answered the phone immediately, (most of the other companies had a machine that said they would get back to me), was polite and understanding of my stress and urgency. She booked me for the same day and clearly explained the cost of a service call. She sent the initial invoice quickly and followed up with the final invoice just as promptly when the job was complete. She later texted to make sure the job went well, which I think is a lovely touch and shows a company that really cares. When the team arrived, it was clear that this family-owned business values professionalism and customer satisfaction. Carlos, Percy, and Barbaro were not only quick and efficient but also incredibly friendly and approachable. They diagnosed the problem with my stuck shutter swiftly and fixed it with ease. What stood out to me was their thoroughness. They didn't just stop at the immediate issue; they performed maintenance on all my other shutters and discovered a broken wheel. They promptly removed the shutter, replaced the wheel, and ensured everything else was in perfect working order. Apparently, one is supposed to maintain one's shutters yearly. Now I know. And I asked to be put on a yearly schedule immediately. WD40 is not the answer. The wheels and upper tracks need more. Their price for all the repairs and maintenance was extremely fair and reasonable, which is always a concern when dealing with home repairs. The combination of their prompt response, professional demeanor, and fair pricing makes Pacific Hurricane Shutters- DreamGuard a standout choice. I highly recommend Pacific Hurricane Shutters- DreamGuard for anyone in need of reliable and efficient service. Their dedication to their work and their customers is truly commendable.
