After getting five quote estimates, we decided to go with the A-Best team based on three factors: 1) A strong referral from our neighbor who had used them in the past 2) The level of detail that Jack (their estimator) provided to us in laying out the Scope of Work for the project and 3) The reviews I had read online from other customers. The project involved not only painting the exterior of our home but also cleaning our roof. Our home includes a gabled roof, wood, brick, and stucco. So, the job was a bit more complicated given the different kinds of surfaces that needed to be painted. And the house had not been painted since 2010. The entire team that came to work on our home over several days included: Eddie, Carlos, Keith, Larry and Weber. They were each very friendly, very professional, and very meticulous and neat in their work. As the project progressed, the team did a great job in communicating to us their progress each day, as well as identifying areas of concern that needed special attention. The project took extra time due to the heavy amount of rain we had last week. But to their credit, they wanted to ensure that they could complete the job under dry weather conditions, resulting in a much better finished project. To my disappointment, the vanity and mirror we painted with a brush and roller instead of being spray painted. I confronted the painter and he blamed me for not specifying spray painting. A true company does not blame a customer and owns the mistake. Additionally, a true professional paints furniture with a spray gun and not with brush and roller. Now the vanity and mirror have a textured finish instead or a smooth finish. The painter told me that the finish would get smooth after it completely dries. Which was not true and misleading. The painter offered a discount on the price, which we accepted because he mentioned that the paint would be a smooth finish. We should have not paid for a bad job to begin with. I contacted Bush Bros Painting for a complete refund because the paint never smoothed out and it is a really bad job. The company said that I accept the discount and the painter worked on the paint job for two hours. The vanity and mirror now have a textured finish instead of a smooth finish. Paint Bros Painting ruined my vanity and mirror. I do not and will not recommend this company.

Communication was just as frustrating. Partway through the project, Diego stopped responding entirely. I spent months calling and texting to try to resolve the situation and align on next steps.
