Fine Food in Lounge 3 is one of the three (maybe more?) branches which Fine Food have in Amsterdam-Schipol Airport.
The store is pretty large and this is shown in the huge selection of Iced Tea, mainly from Lipton and a few from Coca Cola's FuzeTea brand. They had numerous flavours of flavoured iced green and regular tea, at the price of 2 for €4, which of course is overpriced but this is expected with it being an airport. Albert Heijn for example would charge around €3.2 for the same or similar beverages at Amsterdam Centraal Station and regular stores would be even cheaper.
Towards the back of the store they even had an unmanned sampling section of the new Lipton Iced Tea - Green with Ginger and Lemongrass. The sampling section wasn't manned or set out well, they literally only had one small plastic sampling cup.
The store inside had a decent, pretty modern vibe and was far from old, basic and boring which a lot of airport shops are.
Like the food selection, the service also wasn't great.
Nonetheless, Fine Food @ Lounge 3 of Schipol did impress me with the look and feel of the store and huge selections of Iced Tea which one can't buy back home in the UK - issues with the sampling, food selection, service and pricing do disappoint, but I do feel a solid three-star rating is deserved here! read more
