I am with the other one-star reviewers. I have been going to this store for about a year and I have never received good customer service; however, I kept returning because of its convenient location. They're (usually) quick, easy and so long as you can read and follow simple directions, you'll be just fine. Just a heads up for those of us who walk, parking lot is not walkable, no sidewalk or crosswalk but that's the town, not fine fettle. Don't come trying to get your stuff before your 'it's ready' text/email. You're just going to waste everyone's time and you're not going to get it sooner! This used to be my absolute favorite dispensary, for years! As of the last 6 months it has become a chore to come here. The ONLY reason I even entertained this circus for so long; was because of the convenience of location and vicinity to my job. What is the point of a pre order if you are going to be inside no less than 20 mins minimum???? Not to mention if you are rec FORGET IT, as they take all med customers first regardless of a preorder. I expressed my frustrations more than a few times VERY NICELY to different people over the last month. Today, I was told that in order for me to use my $10 off( that btw takes FOREVER to accrue since the new point system, so a lot of $$$ already spent) that I had to now PURCHASE a lighter as I ordered gummy's for $10 bringing my total to $11 and change. Having read the disclosures and seeing NOWHERE does it say anything about this, I only brought $2 inside, so you guys still need to squeeze me for another $1 because the computer doesn't want to look like it's giving something away for free?? ITS NOT, as I am paying the $2 difference ALREADY!!! After waiting the 15 -20 mins as usual, I was told at the counter I could not use the $10 because of this little loophole. As someone who is there almost everyday and SPENDS hundreds of dollars here, you can't waive the $1 as you've already wasted 15 mins of my time and I don't have anymore time to now go out to my car and re enter, not to mention how absolutely ABSURD this is. I Will never go back. As someone who has never written a bad review in their life, they really pushed it too far and I will be telling everyone I know to absolutely stay away, and I know a lot of people! What a shame. This is very disappointing to have to write about. I found out yesterday a little before 4 o'clock that the Willimantic Fine Fettle was closing down for the day. Reason being is they didn't have a pharmacist on site because that one wasn't coming in and another one is pregnant and couldn't cover for her. I find this to be ridiculous to say the least, and put the total blame on the manager. A manager should have a contingency for a contingency on top of that contingency. By no means should be in the hands of a manager to close the place down because he didn't do his job. This is definitely a fireable offense and I hope it's looked upon that way. Secondly the same guy is losing staff because of the way he treats people and it should not be that way, especially when you're losing people with impeccable work records. I understand there's more people leaving on the horizon so we better hold on. It's going to be a rough ride ahead until he's gone and they get someone competent in there and get the people they lost back at the position that they love. read more

I Just left the Willimantic store and I can't say enough about the experience. The girl that welcomed me outside was wonderful, another girl inside behind the glass was super cool and the cat I actually bought my gummies from was just perfect. We spoke about our shared love of Beagles and he was extremely cool and helpful. I had no idea this dispensary was only ten miles from home. I'll be going back soon abd often. Wonderful experience!!! Every time I go there I have a problem. I made a pre order and I made it a little later Because I couldn't foreshadow anything may have happening to make it a little later so I asked him if I could change it to a 1/2 hour earlier he said no I asked why he said because which is not an acceptable answer when you work in customer service but they don't give a fuck. They clearly don't give a shit and they could have accommodated me but they didn't because they don't give a shit. Id recommend anywhere else! read more

I'm writing today about the non difference between the whole flower I just purchased on the 15th of April and the second cut I bought on the 4th of April. Actually the second cut buds were bigger than the whole flower, really. See attached photos. I always thought that the whole flower larger buds were supposed to be bigger. Fine Fettle lies about their hours and is smug and dismissive if you arrive near the end of their business hours. As a regular who visits 3+ times per week, I was rudely denied entry DURING business hours after driving through dangerous conditions to get there. As someone with a severe chronic illness that causes awful pain, I can't express how heartless, nasty, and self-serving Fine Fettle's treatment of me was today. This review, for obvious reasons, will only affect a small percentage of Yelp readers, but for them, here it goes. According to state law, when you're applying for your medical certification, you must pick a dispensary first. Unless it's word of mouth, you're going in blind. Fine Fettle was recommended by my medical provider, in which she said that patients had nothing but good things to say. First off, dealing with any part of the state is not the easiest thing to do. The people here went beyond the call to help out with a snafu in my application, ( which was the state's fault, but they wouldn't admit). The following was pre- COVID: After my certification was issued, I went there and was pleasantly greeted by staff members. I was taken into a consolation room, and was educated in the purchase of products. Next we went into the sales floor. Very easy on the eyes type layout. Due to federal regs , you have to purchase with cash. No problem, there's an ATM on the floor. Product selection is fantastic. THC and CBD levels and any info is available. Just a footnote, due to state law (again) product is not sold by its street name, as other states do. Go to the site called terpstreet, which is just for Connecticut, and all the info about that strain is there. The people here are so friendly and helpful, and I've never had a bad experience whatsoever. Now for COVID, it's mandatory that you either order online, or by phone. Doing it online is so easy, that I'll probably keep doing it after COVID precautions are lifted. So in a nutshell, if you're new and need a dispensary, or not fully satisfied with your current one, you're making a good choice selecting Fine Fettle. read more

I was there at these particular location for the first time a couple of weeks ago. picked up some product took it home and open opening it and realized that essentially what's in the jar was all dust it almost looked like it was the left over after a grinding session for the day. I don't know, I'm thinking change the setting on the grinder or tell the person doing it grinding not to get too happy with the grinding because essentially I picked up dust and again it just looked like it was just the leftovers after an end of the day grinding session.
