Then it transforms into a kebab takeaway and delivery service in the evening. They have a pretty standard menu that includes kebabs, burgers, fried chicken, jacket spuds and a few salads. They also have a range of pizza on offer. In this regard, it's a quite a good place to order from if you are with a group of friends. As they say on their menu there's 'SOMETHING for everyone...' that they offer a delivery service is nice also, if you are feeling lazy or have just got back from the pub and want something to soak up the booze. The trouble is that the quality just isn't there. I can think of better examples of each of the items they serve from businesses that focus on a more limited menu, but do what they do well. In Burgy's defence, they are cheap and you can get a meal for £3-£4, so maybe one shouldn't expect a la carte cuisine. This is the kind of place I would use as a back up if my preferred establishments were closed.

The takeaway is run by a Chinese family who are quite possibly the most friendly and welcoming people I know. Even when busy, the owner is always happy to meet new customers and makes you feel valued as a customer. The food is amazing, leagues above any other Chinese takeaway I have tried. There is an extensive menu of well over 150 choices. The prices do seem a little high, however you are given very generous portions. There is indoor seating and free prawn crackers while you wait which is a bonus! Cash and card payments are accepted, although orders must be over £10 for any card payments. Cash back is not provided. In conclusion, the best chinese takeaway I have ever tried so definitely worth visiting!

We use Uncle Sams in general probably every 6 -8 weeks, and most of those come from this branch. I highly recommend the Chicken el fuego, All Star burger [beef], and the Double chilli and cheese [on the hot side - I like to add garlic mayo]. Have a good read of the menu to make sure you're getting what you want in your burger, they are actually all quite different. The All star is best if you like everything; their dill pickles are particularly tasty. Their fries come without the salt added, so you can only blame yourself for adding too much and they are nice and fresh and crisp. The burgers are cooked under a flame, which makes them super tasty and their buns are really nice [I'm not sure why, but they are]. They have a couple of tables inside but I've never eaten in, so I can't review the eat-in service. I must not forget the milkshakes, because although they are super high in calories [obviously] they do a toffee flavoured one, which cannot be said for the competition [yes, I'm talking about you Mc D's]. I think I've said what I can say about the place - go and get one next time you fancy a burger and give the competition a break, you won't regret it.

All are cooked to order, rather than sitting under hot lamps like McDonalds and are generous sized patties. They have an interesting range on the menu, with the Hawaiian being one of my favourites. On top of the burgers, they serve a few side orders (onion rings etc) and have great milkshakes. They have about 6-7 tables on site if you want to eat in, which is functional but not exactly stylish. I do like the old school diner mike that they call your order to the griddle chef (even though he is only about 1 meter away), but sometimes it's the little touches that win you over! To be honest, it is a fast food burger joint, so it will never be the healthiest meal you will eat. Still, if you want to indulge in a burger from time to time I would certainly recommend stopping at Uncle Sams over some of the big chain brands dotted around town.

None the less, 'Panda Garden' (if only their were such a thing) is a good Chinese take away and restaurant, offering both eat in and take away services. Like with Yummy Yummy down the road, I was particularly impressed wit the price. I managed to get two mains and two sides for £11, which worked out as more than enough for two of us. The food was of a good quality, not over doing the greasy MSG that is so often present. I can't comment on the restaurant experience, but the decor is tradtional and relaxing, certainly nice enough to take a gamble.
