Uncle Sams is a great little burger place and the staff are always friendly and they make a great burger. We use Uncle Sams in general probably every 6 -8 weeks, and most of those come from this branch.
I highly recommend the Chicken el fuego, All Star burger [beef], and the Double chilli and cheese [on the hot side - I like to add garlic mayo]. Have a good read of the menu to make sure you're getting what you want in your burger, they are actually all quite different. The All star is best if you like everything; their dill pickles are particularly tasty.
Their fries come without the salt added, so you can only blame yourself for adding too much and they are nice and fresh and crisp.
The burgers are cooked under a flame, which makes them super tasty and their buns are really nice [I'm not sure why, but they are].
They have a couple of tables inside but I've never eaten in, so I can't review the eat-in service.
I must not forget the milkshakes, because although they are super high in calories [obviously] they do a toffee flavoured one, which cannot be said for the competition [yes, I'm talking about you Mc D's].
I think I've said what I can say about the place - go and get one next time you fancy a burger and give the competition a break, you won't regret it. read more
