Fine Balance Pilates is the best! Owner/instructor Margaret Merrett has developed quite the following of fitness enthusiasts over the years an when you take her classes, you will see why . Margaret Merrett has been working in the fitness industry for over 25 years, and is a fully certified Pilates Teacher and a BCRPA Personal Trainer. She is enthusiast, an always cheerful. Classes are kept small enough that even though ythere are others in the room, she gives individual attention and is always quick to modify exercies to your particular needs. She offers reformer pilates, matt pilates, spinning classes, and more..... I am hooked on the reformer pilates because you can't cheat while doing the exercises and her routines are always varied so it's never the same thing twice. In the past I have gone to a traditional gym and always got bored and never saw the results I wanted. With reformer pilates, it only takes a few weeks and you will see the results. What I notice about Margaret's studio that sets her apart from many of the others is her quality of instruction and standards for her other instructors. I've been to other fitness studio's whose client base is based on the following of the owner/operator. The thing I found;however, is when the owner/operator is away or has a sub, I have always been left feeling like "that was a waste of my time because _____________ was not here to instuct." With Margaret's other instructors or the rare time she has a sub, I am NEVER left feeling that. She has high stanards for herself including her other instructors.
