As it so happened I ordered a Thomas McKnight piece from Etsy and the owner/shipper put the art in a soft sided UPS box so the art showed up damaged. Luckily this is right up Anga's alley. My grandma is no longer with us and had a very precious painting that traveled with her and her family from Hong Kong, to Beijing, and finally to her last home in LA. Unfortunately while we were transporting it to my house last year, we were not very careful and ripped the canvas in three places. It is a very very old painting and holds a lot of sentimental value, so of course we were devastated. I contacted Melinda and she gave me an estimate - I dropped the painting off and she explained all of the possible ways she could fix it. We chose the patch method for the rips, as I didn't want to lose the texture of the paint on the trees by relining the whole canvas. The price was very affordable, and she let us know it was done in about two weeks. In addition to fixing the three rips (we couldn't even tell where she applied the fixes!) she also stretched the painting and waxed the frame for us. We are so so pleased to have my grandma's beautiful painting restored and in our home once again. Thank you so much Melinda for the restoration!!
