I cannot recommend Ryan enough. I requested a quote yesterday and he responded very quickly. I…read moreneeded the headache rack from my previous truck, mounted on my new truck, which didn't fit and needed it done by this weekend. He told me to come in today and he would see what he could do to get me back on the road on time. He set a time for me to bring my truck and headache rack in at 10:30am today. I told him I had an appt. before that and I may not be able to make it at 10:30. He understood and I told him I would let him know if I was gonna be later. My appt. ended up taking hours longer than it should have, but Ryan was beyond understanding, told me he had to leave at a certain time, but was willing to do what he could with the short time I'd left him with. Beyond being willing to help and dealing with a new customer (yes me) that showed up hours later than scheduled, trusting that I would show up just on my word. Not knowing if he just wasted his entire day for a good paying project or a no go project. His honesty through our emails yesterday, being honest today in telling me he'll do what he can with my being late and his honesty while there is what sets him apart from other businesses. Unfortunately, because I was late he couldn't do anything today, therefore making no money on a new customer that held his day hostage. Being Self-Employed, honest businesses are the ones that earn my respect and business. He could've slapped something together that would've worked short term and possibly drilled unnecessary holes in my truck, but he "didn't want to just take my money and ruin my truck bed for a short term fix) where other shops I had spoken with would have. He's now gonna build a custom headache rack for my truck with the design I want, not just throwing your every day rack together. If you need a good, honest fabricator who takes pride in his business and your project. Don't waste your time calling around, Krauss welding and fabrication is the call you wanna make.

I was looking for a fab shop to make me a plate style offroad bumper for my truck. I had a lot of…read moreshops tell me excuses why they can't do the work. But when meeting up with Greg, he gave me nothing but options. I had a long list of things I wanted on my bumper, and with each request, he gave me a solution "Yeah! We can totally do that!" Greg has a high attention to detail when it comes to his work. He took my light weight request as far as putting it into the design of the bumper. He shaved off weight where possible while keeping the structure integrity in mind. He is also fast on his work. I needed the truck in a week and he planned his time well to accomplish this project in time. Not only that, his pricing was very fair. He will beat out everyone's pricing, I assure you. I'm sure I wasn't the easiest customer to deal with, but Greg worked with me when I wanted to add little details here and there. Also he is an offroad enthusiast, so he has a great idea of what people want in their projects. For example, he was able to integrate hi-lift jack points into the bumper. One thing that surprised me about Greg was he asked me if he could put his logo on my bumper. Any other shop would have automatically put it on without asking, but this humble request shows that Greg truely cares about the customer and their needs of their project. I would definitely go to Rock and Road Performance again. Great work Greg! 5 Stars!

I bought a new home in Roseville and called Surefire Fabrication to build and install a gate at the…read moreentrance of my courtyard. Glen and his son did an amazing job fabricating a custom gate in just a few weeks. I asked that they take the design from the existing gate at the model home. The end result was a gate that not only exceeded the quality but was 100 times sturdier than the flimsy one at the model. After they installed the gate I had a little problem with the strike plate alignment after it settled (the thing is 160lbs, so I was expecting some settling). They came back out shortly after to install a new strike plate which fixed the problem. Overall I'm very pleased and recommend Surefire Fabrication to anyone looking to do some metal work (they do signs too!). Thanks guys!

I wrapped them in vinyl but vinyl just wasn't meant to last THAT long. I have always known about powder coating, but never really know what it was. After a quick search I was able to find out enough to know this was the route that I wanted to go. I did a search on yelp for powder coating and Surefire Fabrication was one of the first to come up. I sent a request for a quote and within minutes I had a message back from Glen. The price was the best that I got from all other companies around, and the turnaround time was the fastest as well. The process was super smooth from start to finish. I brought the parts to the shop, and within a few days I had them back. Surefire did an excellent job. I really couldn't be happier with the results.
