Apparently, HE (the couples "therapist") could not handle two adults raising there voices. He said "I am hurt and impacted by your words and I would like you to leave." He then kicked us out into the rain and cold. This guy is dangerous. An individual who shows much more concern for himself then his couples. Stay clear! I responded to the email, informing them of the mistake. No one responded. Two days later, I called. There was no answer. I left a message. No one called me back. A few days later I emailed again. No response. Two days after that, I called. They did not answer. I left a message. They did not call back. At no point over the course of 3+ weeks did anyone respond. Then our son got sick and the appointment needed to be cancelled. My ex called more than a day before the appointment. No one answered. He left a message. No one called back. He emailed to make sure they were aware that we needed to cancel. No one responded. The therapist then contacted him at the time of the scheduled appointment and said he should have texted her. Neither he nor I had been provided with her phone number to do so. Absolutely non-existent customer service/communication with clients. I've never experienced anything like it. Baffling.

My husband and I split the bill, but she tailored her service towards my husband only. She did not hear me, she did not care what I had to say. My husband told me she gave my husband a 'diagnosis' of me, but she never shared that with me. How insulting is that? You are paying for someone to insult you... What a joke. I hope NO more couples ever waste their lives, time, money, on this counselor who calls herself a professional. I hope she leaves this community. I have gained so much insight into these sessions that Connie expertly runs. She is such a giving person, and such a great listener. I read the negative review by someone a year ago, and this makes no sense because Connie Curlett has been gracious and helpful to both men and women and people of all races and I have never seen a hint of animus to anyone. This description by someone who posted a year ago does not describe the Connie Curlett I know and seems like the poster had other personal issues. Connie is a very kind person and she has many people that reach out to her for her wisdom about relationships. She is simply a very empathetic and generous person and truly the best active listener I have ever seen!
