The Restaurant has a bar which has classic drinks on the cocktail menu but they will make anything. There is also an extensive wine and food lists
We started there with a round and my negroni was perfect. They also served olives and a salty nut/cracker mix that was replenished. Service was good.
Our reservation was for 9:30pm and we were seated upstairs. We were the first table up there but many tables followed as the night wore on. The waiter let me walk around and take pictures and even showed me the balcony that is used when the weather is warmer. There are also cool nooks or dining.
Inside the atmosphere is romantic. The lighting flattering and music loud enough to hear but low enough to talk.
The food was incredible. They gave us individual hummus servings with a thin baguette slice toasted- amus bouche.
I started with the half order of the sampler of meats and cheese (Iberian selection Baesaya style). OMG! It was delicious and the portion big enough for the table! There's were two kinds of cheese and five kinds of meat. All meats, even the salami, were sliced paper thin and served on a large fish shaped wooden board.
For my main I got the lobster papardelli. There was a hunk of lobster still in the shell that was sweet.
One friend got the salad and he thought it was very green with multiple types of lettuce and a vingrette that was just right. His lamb chop was ordered per the chef's recommendation and it came out the way he liked- crispy. He finished with the rice pudding and thought it was very good.
My other friend's appetizer was the spring rolls with prawn inside; he thought they were very tasty . He got the hamburger which came two to a serving with french fries. He thought it was ok. Two of us got the pistachio ice cream; it was incredible. My other scoop was coconut; it was ok. He liked his other scoop of strawberry.
We went back to the bar after our delicious dinner. We were the only ones at first but it had more people by the time we left at 1:30am. We asked about an amazing song and found it was alive singer upstairs. There was a DJ and later a live sax player. Eventually, the music was too loud to talk but made for a fun atmosphere.
