I came here on a snow day, everything was closed I saw online they were opened,so we walked here. The staff were excellent and the pizza is on point NYC style! I also had their tiramisu so good. This small pizza place is great!! The great service and taking care of the community during the snow storm is great. What a great place to be!!!

Amazing pizza and truly homemade pasta. The pizza tasted like true NY pizza. The place is so cute and the service was awesome. You must go!!!

Heard good things about this place so I decided to give it a try. Glad I did! The Hornet Pizza didn't disappoint! Crust was light and crisp and the pepperoni was the cup and char type. Place is small with limited seating but I arrived early so no problems finding a table. I'll go back and try out a few more menu items.

Best pizza in the Charlotte area!!! Heard so many great reviews on this on social media so stopped in for some pizza after my son's lacrosse game today at Ballyntine Ridge HS with some friends. The owner came out and told us about the place before we ordered and recommended the well done since he heard we were from NY, NJ and Connecticut. The place is real cute inside with bar seating and a handful of people tables and immaculate bathrooms. Now for the food! We ordered the vodka pie, a plain pizza and the Sweety Pie pizza and they were all delicious!! Crust, sauce and cheese brought back great memories of some of the best places in NY and Connecticut that I've had. Will definitely be going back just wish it wasn't so far from us in Lake Norman.

Menu. You can order from the table too.

We are from out town and our cell service was weak, we rode around and saw a sign for Finale Pizza. It was a SIGN for sure because it was absolutely amazing! Pizza was cooked to perfection, sauce was on point and service was friendly. The owner came out to ask how things were and I told him if he got closer he would be hugged! Save room for dessert, because his homemade cheesecake is divine!

Popped by Finale on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30. The parking was plenty, the place was small, but cute, and the employees were very warm and welcoming. A few things to note- they only sell pizza by the slice 11-2. You use a QR code to order. The size of the inside is not very accommodating for a larger party. Being a NYer, finding a great pie has been a challenge of mine since moving here. Finale did not disappoint. The mozzarella sticks and marina sauce were tasty and the white pie had a very subtle, but enjoyable lemon flavor from the little bit of zest they top the pie with. I also appreciated the sesame seed crust. That really brought back memories of Friday pizza at my Nana's house. I am looking forward to my next trip back!

This is a cosy place with limited bar seating. There are a couple larger tables for families in the middle and could probably squeeze together tables against the wall if needed. It's made to feel like an old school diner. Service is order at the counter style and they bring it out to you. Now the pizza. Came expecting more flavors like their sister restaurant, Inizio, and wasn't there. The crust was tough after being warmed. It felt tearing it by my teeth and in public that is not the look we are going for. Enjoy by the slice concept but something about being warmed or how old the slice might be needs to be revisited.

We saw Finale Pizza on IG and decided to drive up to Charlotte to try it. Upon arrival we realized it was a big space. Two tables a bar area to sit and another area with a bench and 2 tables. There is no drink dispenser. They offer bottled drinks which for me is perfect as we don't have to worry about it being flat. We made it in time to the order lunch which were the slices for us and a side salad we split. My wife ordered a slice of the Parma and a pepperoni. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni. Her Parma was amazing. Our pepperoni we had to ask for other slices. One of the managers was very apologetic and remade them and explained how sometimes it can get burnt from being sent back through the oven to heat. Totally understandable however we didn't like the burnt bottom. So you'll see our pics of burnt versus the not so burnt. The pizza overall was so good. The cheese melted perfectly. Now knowing how to order we would probably just gluey the whole pie and eat it later. They gave us some chocolate chip cannolis on the house and they were really good as well. We throughly appreciated his hospitality. And we will be back.

One of my new favorite pizza spots in the Charlotte area. Small spot but great for lunch deals and takeout. The pizza is classic style and so crispy. It is definitely one of the only of its kind in the area. Will make this staple! Highly recommend the hornet pizza - it has pepperonis and hot honey SO good

Online directs you to Uber Eats for carry out orders which ends up being more expensive. I called and chicken parm was ~$2 less but the staff was very friendly and restaurant is nice and clean. Chicken parm was great and will definitely be back to try the pizza

We came an hour before closing but we saw a lot of people coming in to pick up pizza. We were encouraged by this exterior traffic to come in and give the food here a fair chance. Service was very nice and friendly in a clean pizza parlor but based on the price and quality of the food, we would rather go to Harris Teeter for their pizza and cannolis. Food flavor/quality doesn't match the prices of the menu.

Best pizza I've had in Charlotte. Crispy and cooked perfectly. Nice size pie( 19"). Two slices were plenty. And I want to know whose Grandma you stole the meatball recipe from. Soft, all beef. Unheard of! The side salad was more than enough for two. Staff was friendly, particularly Justin. I'll be back for sure.

    Hornet slice

We liked Finale! They sell pizza slices from 11-2 every day which is a great way to try different pizzas. Our favorite was the Hornet slice but beware it is spicy! The crust was crunchy not floppy and everything had great flavor. The large Caesar salad was enough for 2 people to share and we loved the crunchy breadcrumb topping. The pasta is homemade and we enjoyed the penne alla vodka sub rigatoni. The interior is really small but we got there around noon on a Saturday and had our pick of seats. We sat down at the table and someone brought us a pitcher of water for self refills and you scan a QR code to place your order. We didn't have a waiter the whole time, and the kitchen staff brought our food to the table. That process was a little different. Check them out!

You can buy rubs, marinades, salads, sides, bread, rolls, desserts, etc. They also have frozen wild game if that is what you are into. It was unfortunate that half their store did not have power as we were not able to see any of the meat or fish on display. iI was ok we were not able to hand select our steaks or fish - the store has such a great reputation we were not too worried about what we would end up with. We decided to order 4 prime marinated NY strip and 2 tuna steaks. They make theur own naribade so we had to try it. We also wanted to try one of frozen pre-made meals so we chose the sausage and pasta with vodka sauce. While in line to checkout we saw more than a few people with trays of cinnamon buns so we had to try them as well. This is a summery of our purchased food:. The cinnamon rolls were grainy. Not smooth. I think they were old (I had to pull them from the back). The steaks had a great flavor as the marinade was really good. Three of the 4 steaks were over cooked because we were given 4 different sized steaks. 2 got burnt the third was well done....$60 wasted. The tuna was good but again they gave us one large steak and one thinner one so the smaller was was dry....another $15 wasted. If I can make any suggestion....do not make a purchase without seeing what you are buying. $136.00 later I can say I was disappointed because of the unevenness it was cooked improperly. 4 stars because the cook is partially to blame. 3 stars otherwise. The sales person is the first person that should know better than to sell meat and fish the way they did. Ruined my Christmas meal. Only 1 of us ate. :(

We made a reservation because we weren't sure how crowded it would be on a Saturday night. Reservations weren't really necessary as the place was not busy. We weren't sure the dress code either, hard to gather from their website. We went business casual but we could have just done in our Saturday afternoon casual as it's not upscale but neighborhood comfortable. The decor is honestly pretty bland. Everything was just gray and there were no pops of color anywhere. The lighting was cool and the wine wall was nice but it just didn't have much character. We were greeted quickly by our server who was polite but not overly friendly. She gave us the drink specials and we got started with a few beers. A runner brought a basket of warm bread and butter which is always a nice start. We ordered the garlic bread and the zucchini fritti for appetizers. They came out quickly and presented nicely. The garlic cheese bread wasn't very garlicky, had more of a rosemary flavor so it wasn't our favorite. The zucchini was shaved and had a nice flavor. Because it was so small it was kind of hard to eat. I like my zucchini with some ranch and we asked for some and kind of got a weird reception from the kitchen staff. I mean we are in the south people - ranch is a staple! For entrees we tried a few different things. We had the white pizza, the chicken francese, the chicken crusted Romano, and the sliced beef rib cut. All the dishes came out warm and with nice presentation. The pizza was the most lackluster. It was just average and did not have much flavor. The crusted chicken Romano was a highlight with a nice flavor from the vodka sauce. The other two dishes tasted good but were nothing amazing. The mashed potatoes were the best side dish. The roasted potatoes were a bit on the burnt side and lacked any real seasoning. We had an overall pleasant experience but will not rush back to this spot. If you are in the neighborhood I'm sure it's convenient but if you want a great Italian meal this would not be my recommendation.
