One of the food trucks that I tried during this month's local community event. The prices kept me from sampling more from the menu but the conch fritters I went with didn't disappoint. Presented appetizingly, in a nice sturdy container. Light and fluffy inside, chunks of tender conch inside. Delicious dipping sauce that had a spicy little kick for the tastebuds. I'm looking forward to trying more of this food truck's menu offerings at the next event.

I'm from the Caribbean and their food is pretty similar to the food from back home and that island seasoning you're looking for. They have a good variety of options in their menu, from quesadillas, fried pork, wings, tacos and more. The only negative why I took a star, is their constant changing of prices, but still worth it.

Food is absolutely yummy!!! The owner definitely puts his heart and skills into the food created. I love the Fin's Chicken Sandwich that's fried to Perfection and a Delicious Tangy House Sauce!! Then sometimes I have the Shrimp Tacos and Tried a Coco Soda for the First Time! Everything is Fresh & Sometimes there are surprise goodies on the truck....I can go on and on! I can't wait to try the new Voodoo Punch I see online The truck is super super clean and I felt completely safe with the CDC guidelines during this time. Check them out so catch their schedule since it's a Food Truck. Lastly they are Black Owned and Humble

I've been dying to try the food at this underrated gem and i finally got to them. I left my spin class and wanted to indulge. I literally came 3 minutes before closing because of the distance from my class, but I called the establishment and told him I was on my way prior& they waited for me! This place has amazing options! Being from Haitian descendants, I knew they couldn't disappoint from all the rave reviews on IG and Yelp. I will definitely be back but I will give you my review on on what I got my first time here. What I Ate Today: Haitian Lemonade - 10/10 Amazing it's tart but has a nice sweeten note to it. Very refreshing and cooling. Fritay Loaded Fries- 10/10 Yooooo I literally have no words for this. Fin's Kitchen is a food truck that will give you your dose of Caribbean flavors with a special twist. The menu is full of great choices that you can not go wrong with. I tried the griot tacos, the quesadilla tacos, a side of fried plantains with pikliz ( Haitian spicy coleslaw), the voodoo punch and everything was BOMB! Between the quesadilla and the taco it is very hard to pick a favorite but I can easily recommend both. I will for sure be back to try the rhum cake and more dishes from the menu. saw the Fins truck for the first time & was excited to try their food. Unfortunately the excitement was ruined due to the poor customer service. While with a friend, we were both berated by staff over an error that the cashier caused. The workers became so irate to the point they threatened not to give us our food which we already paid for & in my opinion was slightly excessive in price. Once the situation was dissolved, the food was rudely handed off to us with no apology. This entire incident was unnecessary & could've been handled in a more appropriate manner. Our dishes were decent at best, alas now Fins has left a bad taste indefinitely read more

We had Fin cater our Spring Break Dads/Sons trip. Besides rolling up in a really cool truck, Fin (and Ashley) served up the most incredible and delicious food. The griot tacos, Fin's Chicken sandwich and quesadillas were money. The flavors were incredible. 10 Dads and 10 teenagers went to town - and loved every bite. The tamale de pollo was a bit dry and the tamale de puerco was spicy but good. The horchata was really good and they gave me a huge one. The 3 leches was a bit dry, it tasted like cake with milk dumped into it. The people were super sweet you can tell it's a family owned restaurant. I will return to try the tacos and get some chips.

It's a local favorite with tons of repeat clients. Everyone is super helpful and ready to answer questions. We grabbed papaya, guanavana (sour sop), burro bananas and even some cachapas and Honduran cheese. When you get to the register, get some empanadas, chicharrones and get some home made tortillas (you have to ask for those-secret compartment behind the register). They, they had a shiny espresso machine and I needed my second fix of the day especially after my recent post lunch pizza slice snack. The server was polite and prepared me a hot single shot cuban espresso at the higher end $2.99. It was decent and did its job.

I want smoked taste; that is the essence of BBQ. The chicken was also delicious. This is real BBQ. Who am I to declare? Born is San Antonio,Texas. Have eaten Texas BBQ all my life all over the Lone Star State. This, and Carolinas, are the epicenters of BBQ. This place combines both styles. Their BBQ is not hurried or commercialized. You find this style of BBQ a lot on the West Coast of Florida, where small places produce excellent CLASSIC BBQ. The sides were very good. The people are very friendly and competent. This is not a fancy place but just real, honest BBQ that is done well and with love. Now, there is another review on here that is very negative. His rambling, incoherent, urban-effete style carpings do nothing to add to the focus on the food. The smokey flavor on the ribs is just the opposite of what he describes. Regarding Jenkins, I gave it up long ago. There is no love for what they do. I was given BBQ that was refrigerated in aluminum foil-made earlier. The ribs were dry and too lightly smoked. And the surly service, I note the finely tuned masochism urbane sophisticate appreciation or the verbose reviewer's fine appreciation for absorbing insults and animus from a service that he pays for. "It's sort of understood that the workers at a genuine BBQ place will be surly and grouchy (you know the ribs have got to be good if the employees are unpleasant, right? I mean, go check out Tom Jenkins and you'll know what I mean..)" The style of writing comes from an urban sequestered mentality of brouhaha and BS. Give me the smoke, not the dope.
