I had been putting off dealing with the scratch because the last time i had a fender bender issue and had to go through insurance with an auto body shop, I'd had a bad experience with the rental car company they used trying to pin me with a ticket that wasn't mine, and long crazy story unrelated here. I had gone back to the same auto body shop (because it appeared they did a good job and they were very nice people, rental car not really their fault). But even though, to me it looked like a smaller job, they told to me it would be another biggish job, reaching into near $5000 to repair with panels, bumper, and paint repair, where I'd need a rental car co again so i had put it off, for fear of using rental car co, plus i have a $1000 deductible (ouch). To make a long story shorter i came into Downtown auto, upon referral, and met with a very nice guy, Martin. He took a look at my scratches and actually buffed them all out on the spot! (wow!) and gave me a bid to fix my front bumper for less than my deductible so i wouldn't even need to go through the insurance and rent a car! Plus, he said it'd be done in like 2 hours. I made the appointment and can't wait to update this review further. Btw, it's a comfortable waiting area, with nice glass viewing windows to see what's going on with your ride. And if you need to make a Costco run that day? It's conveniently located right across the street!

Downtown did an AMAZING job, making my baby brand new again. It took a few weeks due to parts availability but the kept me informed throughout and dealt with my insurance to make sure all necessary repairs were covered. I hope my car is never damaged again but if it is, Downtown Autobody is the only place I would ever take it to be repaired.

I love my RV. It has all the features I want for the price I paid, and a layout that really…read moremaximizes the space in the way I like, even with all the years behind it. Unfortunately the roof needed a proper resurfacing. After a summer rain where I hadn't covered it, some water managed to seep into the interior and damaged the chassis and overhead cab. I couldn't leave it like this, so I looked around for someone to help me decide whether the roof was repairable or needed to be replaced. I called Coachworks and, after a brief chat with Greg we setup an appointment to meet. When you arrive you drive your RV past the Aled Auto entrance and down the driveway to an open area a few vehicles away from his shop near the back. Greg took a look and identified numerous significant issues that needed attention, several I hadn't noticed before. Wood rot, rusted surfaces, holes, leaks, and other damaged places on the exterior. We walked through all the issues, and he said they could be fixed or easily replaced. We spent most of the brief appointment discussing the roof. He helped me be sure I was making a decision I wouldn't regret, and I decided a PVC roof was the best option. It'll probably outlast the RV itself, is easiest of the options to repair later, and it was a reasonable price that didn't break the bank. It took a while to get back, but it had been a busy time with so many losing houses to wildfires and others trying to get away during covid lockdown. I wasn't in much of a hurry. When we reviewed the changes I was impressed with how thorough Greg had been repairing the roof issues. He also confirmed that the RV weathered a few rain storms while he was testing it with no issues. The canvas awning had been falling apart but it has all new components and it works like new! One of Greg's specialties is finding pieces from other RVs to fit, because many of these RV businesses don't make replacements for long. I immediately took my renewed camper out to a site to test out. When I arrived the fan and A/C weren't working, even though they did before I left! It's useful to check systems at each stage of you trip, so you can troubleshoot later. I asked Greg about this and he had me drop it by. He climbed into the ceiling and found that a large plug had simplify disconnected, and another wire had been fraying apart. I recall the trip to that site was excessively rough, and was probably the cause. Thanks again to Greg for finding and repairing it to help me feel whole. I've taken several trips and had a great time since. No rain damage - even after a major storm - and I'm also enjoying the reinforced and modernized component upgrades.
