Noypees rejoice! Filipino street food that takes you back to the homeland. Only things missing are the dusty Jeepney's, the big jugs of melon and buko juice, and the meow-meow meat BBQ on a stick. Located in the ultra chic and up-and-coming trendy neighborhood of the industrial food district. This is a short alley, and parking is along the streets behind the alley. The longest line is for pinoy BBQ. Fairly good, but missing are the various filipino offerings on a stick. Come on, you can't have pinoy BBQ if its not on a stick... Longanisa lumpia was good, and garlic ply lie. Tim's drinks were mediocre. Taho was all soup and very little laman. Mais con yelo (sic) could have been more mais and less yelo. Thai ice tea was ok, yet very skimpy on the boba. The serving container in a plastic bag is a nice authentic touch. Let's hope Filled Market can attract more vendors. I'd like to see more BBQ on a stick, and much much more pancit, because you cant have pinoy BBQ without pancit.

Went to the Filled Market for the first time this weekend to try out a couple of the vendors in the area. The location is on a corner and easy to get in and out of. They also have a fairly large parking lot which is great since there are so many vendors in the shopping center. Most of the vendors are Asian owned or feature Asian food, which I love. I tried Tim's Iced Tea, Keyks, and Lobsterdamus. All were very good and I like that there is a little bit of everything here. I also think the Filled Market brightens up the area with these lively vendors and brightly colored paint job. However, the surrounding streets are a little rough looking and I would not recommend driving around at night or not parking in the parking lot. I went during broad daylight and it was fine, but just something to think about if you go at night.

This outdoor food market is a gem. Here, you'll find different Filipino vendors that serve amazing barbecue, pastries, drinks and desserts! They also have a vendor selling house plants!! Something for everyone! Wish there was a bit more seating. Other than that, it's a super great weekend activity! Parking might be tough, but there are some paid lots around the corner.

During COVID-19 as of March 2021: I found out about this lil local Sunday market run by Filipino American entrepreneurs and had to see what it was about. Located in downtown LA, this market can easily be missed as it's located in a small lot. We parked a block away nearby, away from the main area since street parking was full. Of course, preferably, everything happens at Filipino time- an hour or two after opening. We came back at around 12-1 when there was more of a crowd (but socially distanced, etc). They rotate the vendors although I believe there are staple businesses like Tim's Thai Tea. They mostly have street food BBQ vendors (serving skewers including kwek kwek, fish balls, and the rest of the street food essentials) as well as dessert vendors serving ube flavored sweets. I was able to adopt a plant from one of the small businesses there which was different! What is nice is also being able to try a Fil-Am business that maybe from Smorgasburg in a more intimate setting before they get big! Accepts cash, card, and Applepay (depending on the vendor). Check their socials/website for info on times, dates (Sundays as of right now), and vendor info. Family friendly. Not enough seating/tables. Street parking only. Mangaon ta!

So my kids wanted to drive out and support the filipino vendors. I appreciated that they were only letting those vaccinated into the area even though it's outdoors. Be prepared to wait in line and for a place to sit. I would suggest more tables and chairs. The vibe is pretty good, the music, etc. The food and the different vendors were great...it does take a minute to get your orders so be prepared to wait.

Saw this place on TikTok and decided to bring my dad who was visiting from out of town. First thoughts, it kind of small. Just a handful of vendors but let me tell you it does not disappoint! We shopped around at The Fly Plant Shop, Manila Candle and Shop Para Sa-yo! I believe they have different vendors rotating out. Everything was Filipino inspired and was just an absolute joy to see, also very friendly! The food was a hit. We ordered from Shuck-it LA (oysters and smoked crab legs with garlic butter rice) and Eat Mano Po. One word, BOMB. My only concern is that there really isn't enough space for people to sit and eat. I recommend going right when they open because by 12 PM the lines were to the street. There's plenty of street parking around the area. They're definitely going to need a bigger space and hopefully they'll be able to have more vendors.

Lot of vendors that have a history with the greater LA area, so it avoids the gradual rise of gentrification which can occur with most food halls and markets in the U.S. I like the open air concept where you can just chill inside or outside and enjoy some good food or brews. You could easily hang out here for several hours, but I had a busy day so that couldn't happen for me. Because I was walking distance, it was a must visit. Not sure if I'd drive into here, but do visit if you can get there via public transport.

My mom and I tried 3 booths. One had these grilled chicken and pork skewers with a side of sticky rice. My mom asked the owner if they had any sort of sauce, and she gave some to us, but said that the meat wouldnt need any "because it tastes good on its own." Boy was she right. The meat was perfectly seasoned, uber flavorful, and all for a great price. The second booth that we tried had all sorts of Thai dishes, but we chose their pad see ew. Amazing. We literally saw the booth owner make the food in front of us in a wok and the smell alone was mouth watering. Highly suggest getting the pad see ew and sprinkling the chili flakes they offer on them. Chefs kiss. From the third booth we got some dessert: mango sticky rice. Needless to say, it was delicious. Perfectly ripe mangos paired with sublime sticky rice. Match made in heaven. Overall this was such an amazing experience. The karaoke they offer is such a fun lil add on, there are amazing singers out there! Highly, highly, HIGHLY suggest to anyone in the chinatown area :)

While visiting the Packing House, I attempted to use the ground-floor men's restroom. The restroom doorway has a raised threshold that made independent wheelchair access extremely difficult. While attempting to exit the restroom, my wheelchair became stuck. It ultimately required the assistance of four able-bodied individuals to help me get out. During this process, the raised threshold bent my wheelchair wheel, rendering it unsafe and unusable. Because I rely on my wheelchair for daily mobility, I was forced to purchase an emergency replacement immediately, at significant personal expense. I cannot wait weeks for repairs or a cheaper alternative -- I need a functioning wheelchair now. The experience was physically painful, emotionally distressing, and deeply embarrassing. I am also scheduled for major surgery on March 3, which makes reliable wheelchair access medically critical. Today, I am experiencing increased pain as a result of the physical strain from this incident. Based on my experience, the restroom access does not appear ADA compliant, and the Anaheim Packing House as a whole is not wheelchair-friendly. This is a serious safety concern, not a minor inconvenience. No one should risk injury or financial loss simply to use a restroom. I hope management takes this review seriously and addresses the accessibility issues so that other patrons with mobility disabilities do not have to go through what I experienced.
