Another plus was that the office was less than a 10 minute drive from our home!! Olu greeted us warmly and was easy to talk to! He immediately got down to business and was able to use deductions that we qualified for that we were unaware of! He was extremely efficient! Before we left, Olu provided us with the completed tax return and our personal documents in a classy folder that included his business card. Then after we paid them they never submitted our return. After more than a month, I called them asking about our return and they admitted their mistake. When I asked for a partial refund since they completely dropped the ball the receptionist said "Oh please I can only say that I'm sorry" Looks like next year we will either do our returns through TurboTax or go to a friendly H&R Block. I went in with my paperwork and there's 4 people in the office, 3 eating, 2 watching a movie. While waiting the the father to get done with another client becuse he was the only one that could do anything they others watched a movie with Vulgar language, no one had a mask on, one got a phone call and put it on speaker and started arguing with the person on the phone about who's girlfriend and her cheating on the other. The dad finally came back from getting food and sat down and the process was fast and got the paperwork in. I was told Monday I'd have my official documentation. I called Monday and was told he was sick and apparently no one else in that office could do any work. His wife might be in later and she could look. No call back. Tuesday I called and he was still sick was told the bother was there he would look and call me back and no call back and they didn't answer the phones after. Wednesday I called and Simone picked up waited till I finished giving my name and what I needed the proceeded to say hello 2 times and hung up. I called back 4 times and no answer. Today I called and they finally answered and said it was ready. I got there and the dad was not in and would be back in 5 mins and I had to wait. No one else in the office could give me the paperwork. After about 5 mins they called him and he told them What to give me. Very unprofessional from start to finish. Very slow and poor service. She messaged me right away; I assumed she was concerned about the 1-star rating. She called me several times and texted me saying how sorry she was. I did call her back to kindly let her know I already found another CPA. She convinced me to drop my CPA and went with her instead just to string me along for over 2 weeks with no intention of working on my taxes. She also made accusations about how I switched CPA every year which I have been with the same CPA for over 20 years. She would ask for sensitive documents; I would upload them to the portal within hours. Then I do not hear from her for days. She would text me again days later saying she has questions and would like to schedule a phone/zoom/google meeting. Then I would respond saying I can talk and asked for a time that will work for her. Saturday was one of the options she gave me so I asked if 1pm works for her, she then accuses me of not being reciprocal and weekends are her rest and family time. I will be filing a complaint to the State Board of Accountancy. She is very unprofessional and unethical. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.
