Finding the right tax professional can be daunting, especially when it's your first time handing…read moreoff your taxes to a CPA. We did our due diligence, interviewing multiple people and getting recommendations from colleagues, before landing on William Tse at Elmira Tax Service. From day one, William set himself apart. His communication was prompt, clear, and reassuring. He broke down tax jargon into simple terms so we always knew where things stood. He takes all the guesswork out of the process by letting you know precisely what documents are needed and offering a fast, secure portal to upload sensitive information with total peace of mind. You can tell he takes great care to be thorough and accurate with every detail. We had to file an extension this year, and William's integrity really stood out: he wouldn't even take payment until all the paperwork for this year was officially finalized. That level of honesty, combined with upfront pricing and zero hidden fees, completely took the stress out of tax season for us. We're extremely glad to have found William, will continue working with him and Elmira Tax Service in the future, and gladly recommend him to anyone in need of a reliable CPA!

She messaged me right away; I assumed she was concerned about the 1-star rating. She called me several times and texted me saying how sorry she was. I did call her back to kindly let her know I already found another CPA. She convinced me to drop my CPA and went with her instead just to string me along for over 2 weeks with no intention of working on my taxes. She also made accusations about how I switched CPA every year which I have been with the same CPA for over 20 years. She would ask for sensitive documents; I would upload them to the portal within hours. Then I do not hear from her for days. She would text me again days later saying she has questions and would like to schedule a phone/zoom/google meeting. Then I would respond saying I can talk and asked for a time that will work for her. Saturday was one of the options she gave me so I asked if 1pm works for her, she then accuses me of not being reciprocal and weekends are her rest and family time. I will be filing a complaint to the State Board of Accountancy. She is very unprofessional and unethical. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.
