Looking at the other reviews here, I see that I am not alone and that this is a recurring problem at this company. I might have to call them 10000x to get my money back so that it can at least cover the penalties. I hope they can do the right thing and give me a refulnd. I think MBAs and the universities targeted by File-It should know that there are better options available in the market.

Turns out she never submitted our payment so we received a penalty notification from the IRS. Thankfully, we fixed that after calling her 10000x. Months later, we receive another mail from a state government (one that I traveled to for work) saying that we owed a specific amount and had penalty charges. After trying to call Natasha another 10000x and speaking with her incompetent admins, we ended up calling the state government directly to sort it out (and yes....it ended up being Natasha placing the wrong amount for one of the line items) Another note, by the time we finally reached her (after using a new number and name so that she'd actually call us back), she said she made no mistakes, would talk to the state government, and call us back......We still haven't heard from her. I have NO IDEA why this place has high ratings, but please save yourself from extra stress and avoid this place. They're absolutely unprofessional and do not care about their customers.

My sister told me to try this place because they got her more back than she's ever had. Even after turbo tax said that she OWED. They got me as much back as they could (which was way more than I could get) and really took care of me. Everyone was super nice and it said they closed at 6 and we got there 15 min before closing and they still helped me out and got me out in 25-30 minutes. Super easy and quick. Definitely will be returning and recommending others!

These people are incompetent, poorly informed, and I've had to educate and explain the tax code to…read morethem to get proper returns. Originally they said I owed $2k, after my own research and telling them what to do my refund was $26k. It took months for them to handle some relatively simple Schedule C and Section 179 depreciation expense. I had all my docs to them by mid-February. They didn't file until April. Then they put the wrong account number for my efile return and this caused it to go into an IRS black hole where I had to file a complaint with my senator, and work with an IRS advocate to finally get my refund in September. Their incompetence lead to me having to wait 8 months and spend enormous amounts of time, energy, and effort to fix their mistakes. I'm sure they'll have some evasive response working responsibility. They should open a company to train people to be professional dodgers like they are
