The studio is always very clean and well kept. The rooms are extremely spacious, unlike many other studios I've been to that have such small rooms you basically need to grease yourself up in your lotion just to slide in there. I have never had to wait for a bed; there's always been one available when I walk in - no appointment necessary! More than anything though, the staff are extremely friendly. I am always so amazed that they remember my name (first and last!) every time I walk in there...no matter how long it's been. The owner, Todd, is also very friendly and personable and always takes the time to chat with customers when he's in the studio.

Body Concepts is divine. The outside façade is very deceiving. It really doesn't look like much (no offense to the owners.) The staff are friendly and courteous. It's clean, well decorated and vary fairly priced. You can even share your minutes with your spouse, which we found to be an awesome benefit. It has beds in all sizes and intensities including a stand-up capsule. This is hands down the best tanning in Spruce Grove. And no appointment needed. Better and better!

I have been going to Mimosa since they opened in March 2010 and have experienced several exceptional services - pedicure, facial, manicure, and waxing to name a few. All of the staff are professionally trained and extremely knowledgeable of all the services offered. I had returned from a 4 month trip to a more humid climate (let's be honest, it is hard to go somewhere that isn't more humid then Edmonton) and was having trouble with breakouts on my face - I didn't know which facial would be best. But I didn't need to worry as the owner was able to tailor a facial specifically to my needs. I was very impressed with the results and feel that helped my skin adjust overall to being back in Edmonton. My favorite service is the pedicure. You can select between several options - I generally go with the Express Pedicure and then every once in a while spoil myself and splurge on the Signature Pedicure. They have the big relaxing massage chairs so the whole time your feet and lower legs are being pampered you can also be enjoying a back and neck massage. Mimosa also offer a membership for regular visitors - the membership has several benefits including discounts on all services so I think it is worth it even if you only go a couple times in a year. I love Mimosa and will continue to return regularly. I have also referred family and friends and they have all had the same wonderful experience as I do.

The process is to apply a numbing cream to the face prior to the procedure, I was told this would be on my face for a half hour. It was left on my face for over an hour. By the time the esthetician came back to the room I was in, my eyes were burning, and I had gotten up to find a cloth to wipe out my eyes. During my one hour wait, the lights to my room were turned on and off several times from outside the room. The music was loud rock, not what I would expect at a spa. I was pleased with the treatment, but not with the experience, which is why I gave it a 3 star rating.
