Beautiful drive, beautiful day, probably wouldn't have happened onto this place but here we were. I am proud to say our experience was awesome; what occurs to me with yelp reviews is that people don't properly set their expectations and then they leave shitty reviews. DH had the French Dip with curly fries, and I had the nachos with ground beef. They served a Coors beer (the driver needed something lite) and I had 2 double jacks and coke (yes it was a coke product and not Pepsi like Bend). Good pour, good food, good price. I would definitely recommend this joint if you happen to be driving thru John Day. Happy to have found a good local spot.
