Adventure didn't cover the charge, which resulted in a number of 'insufficient funds' charges because the payments kept bouncing back. Successfully disputed the charges with the payment companies, but Adventure wouldn't adjust all of the overdraft fees, even though they didn't cover a single dime of the payments. They said that if I could provide proof that the error was not my fault, they would adjust off two more, but that was the max. I requested letters from the payment companies, explained that I would submit them to Adventure as soon as I received them. Whilst waiting for the letters, Adventure charged off my account. Not to mention, I have talked to at least 5 different people throughout this whole situation, and every single one of them was rude, had zero sympathy or concern for my situation, and absolutely unhelpful - and I waited on hold for over half an hour each time I called in.

I have great experiences when I visit the branches, but when you try to call they "encourage" you to use the online tools or text and those folks take forever to respond IF the do respond! As soon as my loan is done with them or moved to a different company we're done banking with them. Horrible!

Absolute nightmare of a bank. 1 star is too many stars. They will add complete strangers to your…read moreaccount so your information is not secure. I once went almost a month without a working bank card because of their system, something that anyone else would've rectified immediately. I almost had a nervous breakdown over it. Also, they will just lock your card randomly and then you can't even have it fixed until business hours (after hours team can't do anything) so you could be screwed on the weekend or like the situation I'm in right now; I have to wait till tomorrow morning because I didn't discover it until after 5 PM in the store check out, can't do anything, which is complete bullshit. All because they think they detected fraud, but I was the one trying to make the purchase. Very inconvenient. The branch manager of Granville, I think his name is Nate, but I could have the wrong name, it was very rude and condescending, only offering me a measly $50 Amazon gift card for my troubles when I went almost a month without being able to access banking by debit card, which up-ended my life for over three weeks during the weeks of my daughter's wedding shower and ceremony while traveling. I absolutely refused the insulting offer. Told him I wanted to speak with someone else before I accepted any kind of offer and he smugly insisted there was no one above him for me to go to. If you are seeking out a new bank, especially in the west Michigan area specifically, Granville, I would steer clear of this one. spare yourself all the grief and stress and safety.
