Luckily, my stepbrother used to be in the mortgage business in Lansing and referred us over to John at HomeLoans. Excellent recommendation, and we could not have been more pleased with the professionalism and service we received from John -- start to finish. From the very first interaction, I knew things would go smoothly. John has everything about the buying process/mortgage qualifications on lockdown. He's very familiar with the ins and outs of Michigan home buying. He's super responsive, especially via email...which was important to us as we were operating with a 5 hour time difference. He was always happy to chat via phone as well. My husband is a very tough mortgage customer (it pays to ask questions and be prudent, I suppose!) and John handled everything to his satisfaction, and then some.
