Last month I just paid my rent, water bill and gas company and now I have several overdraft fees. I might have been hacked or something. I mean that I understand that there was probably a couple of overdraft fees but I don't know what is going on with some of them. Do you just take out once for the overdraft fees. Or maybe twice a for resubmitting a check for it to go through. Maybe I can get a loan and you can get it out of my account when and if it's necessary. I would like to at least see about it I am going to try and put some money when I can. Please, help me with this how ever you can. Can I get a little bit of banking education on this and so I can understand what is going on, so we can figure it out and get it fixed. I do want to continue with the my checking account and I will want Karla to help me. If and when we get this fixed, I would like us all to be happy. Fifth Third Bank marketed a Money Market account to me with a guaranteed rate for a fixed period of…read moretime in writing and verified in person with their agent. This offer and rate was extended as stated by their agent. The account statements are delayed. When mine arrived I noted the rate I was guaranteed to receive by their agent was higher than the rate actually paid. Upon further investigation I discovered not only was I not paid the rate I was guaranteed to receive by their agent but I was also underpaid during the period of the initial extended promotion. I must assume all who responded to the 5th3rd Money Market special were similarly not paid the warranted rate of return. After months of effort including calls, in person visits, correspondence with Fifth Third Bank at various levels and finally governmental authorities, Fifth Third Bank made a small token additional partial payment and supplied hundreds of pages of repetitive, unresponsive replies while ignoring the fact that their agent continued to warrant a fixed return. This fraudulent misrepresentation cost me the opportunity to lock in an equal or higher interest rate and has caused on going injury.
