I went in after she died and gave them all the documents and they copied them all and sent them to legal and then made both trustees get notaries also saying that I was an authorized trustee and could act independently. Now, 3 years later, I have finished all the estate work, and the account has a zero balance and I am trying to close it. They are saying I do not have the authority to close the account both at the local branch and at the corporate office. They have no records of any of the trust documents at the corporate level and the branch says they don't have the notarized forms. So now they are assessing charges on an account that has no money in it. It's actually kind of hilarious because I recorded both phone calls and the corporate office is telling me they have no documents and the branch guy is flipping through the documents and telling me what's missing. Doesn't give you much confidence in them as a bank and definitely not a great experience. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.
