NOT PROFESSIONAL BUYER BEWARE STAY AWAY (Read Below) This all started when I saw a Red F-150 listed on Marketplace by Derek. I contacted Derek and locked in a deposit on the F-150 on Tuesday because I live 3 hours away in Michigan and would need to arrive on Saturday. I deposited $500 on that Tuesday afternoon, confirmed with Derek multiple times that Saturday still works & that I am able to pickup the truck. He kept saying "Perfect, see you then!" Friday comes along, I send him a message asking hey are we still good? No reply (I should have realized then they were playing me). Saturday I text him saying Im about one hour out, once again no reply. I show up to Fifth Gear Garage and I walk in asking for my salesman who said he would be there, and they ask who I was here to see, I mention Derek im here for the red F-150. They all scram to the backroom, I wait 10 minutes for someone to come out and acknowledge me again this time Tristan comes out with Cody the sales manager on the phone. Explaining to me they sent the truck back because of "rear end issues" ... Meanwhile NO one could pick up the phone and let me know before I made a 6 hour drive (3 there, 3 back?) ... Cody tells me he will call me first thing (today) Monday, once again no call. I have to call in and talk to Derek, who Derek says that he didn't even come in Saturday and that the truck was sent back for "Engine and Turbo issues" none of it makes sense. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a business. Buyer Beware! Purchased a truck there, salesman stated the exhaust was cut do too a theft attempt. Within hours the check engine lights came on. Took to get the exhaust fixed thinking it may be the reason for the light. After the exhaust was repaired, you can now hear the motor knocking! They cut the pipe to hide the blown motor! Horrible company!! Took advantage of my 16 year old who worked is butt off to get this truck that won't run much longer. Fuel tank being held up by ratchet straps, bed of truck so rusted you will fall through, shut tailgate and the light free off and it's so rusted it can't be connected again, frame rusted out so bad we were told by a mechanic it's pointless to try to fix it. If I could it would be no stars. At first it was nice to talk to someone for understanding on what kind of truck we needed as a family. The manager Cody talks real good about getting you a deal, but then can't provide it on his side! His quote kept changing and getting higher for a down payment and cost of the truck was different. We were sold on a truck that didn't have bolts on the brake calipers. We found out a week later when the truck made noise and took it into a shop!!! Spent a little over a grand to get it fixed. Called the company and talked to the manager Cody and he said he doesn't check his vehicles/trucks. He drives them and if they sound good, sells it! My husband drove that truck to and from work 110 miles each day and being a family of six - that also traveled out of town, we were in a bad car crash---almost died a few years back! Glad we didn't this time around! This company does not care about checking their vehicles before selling! On top of that, they could care less for the safety of their customers!
