University Commons was built in 2001 on 22.4 acres leased from FAU. The plaza is anchored by a very nice Whole Foods which is one of the most visited in the whole country. There is also Nordstrom Rack, Etiquette Boutique, T-Mobile, Bed Bath and Beyond, Shake Shack, J. Alexander's, and P.F. Chang's. I have been to this plaza many times throughout the years whether it was taking my daughter when she was a toddler to mommy and me play date at Barnes and Nobles, grocery shopping at Whole Foods, enjoying a quick meal at Shake Shack, or grabbing smoothies from Jamba Juice. The plaza still looks as nice as the day it was built. The parking is a little wonky but there is plenty of it. Through the past 2O years University Commons as been a favorite spot to dine and shop in Boca.
