I recently came to the plaza to dine at the brand new Ah-Beetz New Haven style pizzeria. Parking was plentiful and the plaza looks well maintained but a little dated. Still there is a nice mixture of places to eat and services. These kind of strip malls are very common in this area of Delray Beach. It is pretty much like all the rest.

Garden Shops is anchored by a Publix supermarket. Other businesses include The UPS Store, Massage Envy, Publix Super Market, Jersey Mike's Subs, West Boca Medical Center, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Menchies' Yogurt, Bank of America, Starbucks, and Fifth Third Bank. One of my favorite businesses is the new Skillets serving breakfast and lunch. There is a good mix of shopping, dining, and services. The property was built in 1985 but it was completely remodeled in 2010 when it was enhanced with a large Publix and a bougainvillea pergola with benches. A set of pillars signals your arrival into the plaza. It looks to be of the type of well manicured shopping centers you would expect to find in Boca Raton.

After lunch I decided to do some shopping and visited the Dollar Tree and Five Below. I was especially excited to find a Kirkland's because the one near me closed. Other businesses include TJ-Maxx, Sally Beauty, Sola Salons, Coldwell Banker, Super Cuts, Davita Kidney Care, a dance studio, and Tijuana Flats. There were a lot of places I like to eat at and shop at but there were a few empty spaces too. Overall I think this plaza has a good mix of businesses for shopping, dining, and health and beauty services.
