    Nachos and Salsa
    Sheri S.

My Sister and I ate at Fiesta on Hwy. 72 in Tuscumbia for the first time recently. We enjoyed the atmosphere and cleanliness. Food was reasonably good and better than some Mexican restaurants we have tried. Nachos fresh made, but Salsa needed more seasoning. Chimichanga was very good - possibly some of the best we have had. I could tell the Pina Colada was a mix and not fresh made. Flan was tasty with custard texture like it should be. Could have used a caramel liquor flavor sauce to elevate it. Waiter was polite, but spotty on service. We plan to return again.

Everything from our visit was good. If not great. The service was excellent the food was tasty and fresh and we will definitely come back to this location anytime we're in the neighborhood.

There really isn't anything else around this part of town besides a Burger King or Jack's. I needed lunch so I stopped in. I didn't see anything too special on the Lunch menu so I peeked at the dinner menu. While the prices were slightly higher there were a few more interesting choices. I ordered the Chimichanga Loca-grilled chicken, tomatoes, onions, and peppers with chorizo stuffed inside gigantic flour tortilla, then deep fried and smothered in cheese sauce. Served with guacamole salad. It was delicious and incredibly filling. Grilled chicken was very good, grilled veggies nice, and chorizo added a lovely flavor to it all. Most of all it was huge! After all the chips and salsa I could only eat half of my chimichanga. Knew the tortilla would be soggy the next day so I took out the chicken and vegetables then made nachos the next day. So see, I paid a little more for a more satisfying lunch but got two meals out of it. Score! Wouldn't go out of my way for it but I'd eat here again, no doubt, if in the area. It was the SLOWEST Mexican restaurant I've been in and one guy even walked out because he was in a rush. I'm assuming it was because I came for a late lunch and they were probably taking lunch themselves.

Carnitas--if you've never had this Mexican dish, you need to try it at Fiesta Mexicana!

Food was oily and smothered in cheese. The burrito and enchiladas did not have much stuffing.

I got the Buritto Amigo! It's enough for 3 people and delicious! Their salsa and warm chips are delicious too.

(I waited till I went to the other popular salsa place in town to write this review) Good chips too, not overcooked and you can tell they change their grease properly when needed. We went for lunch and it was a ghost town, but my partner drove by going to work and says it's more active in the evening. Staff was friendly, service was moderately quick for probably just starting up the grill for the day. bathroom was being renovated l, hopefully that's done now cause it was a little weird with construction guys walking in. Going back often. And will remember to get pictures next time.

When we tried to go pay they had double charge us for everything, it was 50 dollars for 3 people to eat. We only got speedy gonzalez, two chicken /cheese and 3 drinks. They had several weird fees on there , and wouldn't even explain it. They just laughed at my face!! They were rude, laughing at us , filming us with their phone cameras , not answering our requests for the owners number, being very hateful. Yes i was ugly as well but only after calling the above. I called the Florence location and the man I talked to called owner. They worked out 10 dollars off. I do appreciate this but it was not worth the price. Service and food was horrendous!!! I never WILL EAT THERE AGAIN, and please tell everyone you know to not go there. Disgusting place to eat!!! Very upset when I left... and We actually went here to celebrate something , so to go through this was uncalled for! The ambiance was just horrible, very tacky decor, wasn't clean! Thank you!!
