We were really looking forward to some good southeastern mexican food. We've eating cheese dip nationwide & it was the runniest & most bland flavor ive had. But I know they added for too much liquid to make it stretch too far which is why it was flavorless & runny. Ok, got over it. But the server was not good at all. She "wrote down" our food order. 3 tables that arrived 10-30 minutes after us were receiving food while we still sat there with no food. She made eye contact with me when she was delivering a family of 4 or 5's food while we continued to sit there. Then I saw her run to the register, grab our paper order, and take it to the kitchen. I ALREADY knew when the 2nd tables food came out that she'd forgotten to give the kitchen our order. After dropping our food order off to the kitchen 30 minutes after we places it, she came back out and told us she didnt know what happened to the tickets in the kitchen but the kitchen must have cooked them in the wrong order, which was a total lie. we were 3rd table in after open and other 2 tables already had food on their table before we ordered. Yet those 2 tables left plus another that got there 10 minutes after us left before we even recieved our food. It didnt end there. Our food was nice & hot but she got my order wrong I ate part of it but not the part she got wrong. So not only did she forget to put our order in, she then lied about it and didnt even give me the correct order. She asked chicken or beef when I ordered. I only ever get chicken eating mexican but she wrote down beef. So I didnt eat it. I didnt say anything cause by this time, we'd already been sitting there 45 minutes & was in that kind of mood by then. They didnt offer to make it right by offering any type of discount, either, knowing they messed up. Theres too many mexican options to choose from to eat here. I'm all for giving 2nd chances when people do the right thing but this was a bad experience & no offer to correct their mistake from them. No worries, we will spend our money elsewhere.

If you are adventurous as we were, it's a very short drive to this local sight after dinner. As guests of long time Mexican family friends we were in the minority this evening but the food was great, service excellent and very comfortable surroundings. Several specialties on the menu immediately caught our attention: Spaghetti Fajitas served with traditional fajita meat and vegetables with cheese sauce which made a sauce very similar to alfredo with the spaghetti. I loved it. Football Fajitas which was a similar variation on fajitas served on a circular dish over a bed of excellent french fried potatoes. My assumption is the connection to Football is the dish somewhat resembles a soccer ball, known to most of the world as football. Beer is served but no margaritas which is a bummer. I assume the restaurant is located in the county, outside city limits, or some other of Mississippi's peculiar liquor laws may prevent them from serving the most traditional of Mexican food enhancements

Visited this restaurant with friends and family again last night. Stiff competition in Corinth for…read moreMexican Restaurants but this place is off to a good start. Bargain margaritas at $1.99 will bring a loyal crowd and the nice ambience and quiet atmosphere are a welcome change from other similar restaurants offering Mexican. The food was very good and presentation and service were also great again. Complimentary chips were very good. The salsa was much better than last visit and the beans were tasty- served whole vs. refried and mashed you find at most other Mexican in town. The last visit I tried the Birrias tacos which were really tasty- a Mexican roast beef slow cooked in a chili based sauce with a deep rich flavor that really went well with the rice and pinto beans also served with it. My companion had the Beef Nachos Supreme which were also very good. Enjoyed this first experience and looking forward to trying again. Their lunch menu looks very competitive in price while most of their dinner menu looks a little on the premium side compared to other Mexican restaurants in town. We'll see if the bargain Margaritas and quiet surroundings will balance the equation. On this visit I wasn't very hungry and only tried a tamale off the ala carte menu. The tamale was outstanding. Served covered with a rich, deep flavored mole sauce I was blown away. The tamale reminded me of tamales at my favorite Mexican restaurant in Dallas, TX- El Fenix.

There were dirty tables and no one cleaning them. I asked for a Skinny Margarita and at first the Server said they don't have them and I looked at the full bar and said, ya know, a Skinny is just tequila, triple sec, and fresh squeezed lime. And he kind of laughed and said ok, I can make you that. Our margaritas arrived and he had obviously added that terrible sugary mix plus orange juice ‍. Sugar on top of sugar, disgusting. Why do they put orange juice in Margaritas here in the South? Just gross. But wait, the grossest part is still to come. Hubs got carne asada tacos which were bland, zero flavor, but at least edible when we asked for salsa picosa, cilantro, and onions. I unfortunately ordered the shrimp tacos. They were a mixture of tiny shrimp with some goopy dressing on flour tortillas (which should be corn, they are tacos!). I ate 1 because I was hungry but after that I pushed away the other 2. Server never asked what was wrong or can I take it off your check. Our 40 minute drive home was very painful with my tummy gurgling. I was planning to ride horses this afternoon but nope! Lay on the couch and tried not to throw up. Disgusting. Terrible and somewhat predictable experience as the South continues to disappoint in their lack of Mexican food knowledge.
