What made my visit even better was all the help I received from the ladies in the store. I was under a bit of a time crunch and they quickly helped me to find threads for my existing and new canvases that would coordinate and would be enjoyable to work with! I'm excited to dive in to my new projects and make a visit back to this store!

Wow! I was so happy to walk into this little shop; there is a huge selection of yarn here. What…read morereally makes this special is that it's not the wall of acrylic that you would normally see when you go to buy yarn. This is all wool, beautiful colors and textures of wool yarn. Which, you might be surprised, is now softer and less scratchy than most acrylic yarns. Though some of these yarns are naturally at a somewhat higher price point than low-cost yarn at a big-box store, I was pleased to see that there really are budget-friendly items here. That it might be better to do a smaller project with high-quality yarn rather than buy a large quantity of cheap stuff. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was so nice talking with her. She didn't make me feel like I was expected to make a purchase. Narrator: the reviewer did in fact make a purchase. So - we will see how this "magic loop" knitting works. Wish me luck! I know that if I have trouble I can go back for advice...don't try that at a big-box store!

The store reminds me of a smaller Hobby Lobby, but it feels much more family-oriented. I also didn't realize there was a restaurant attached to the store, which I thought was pretty neat. You can shop while waiting for your table, and when your table is ready, they page you. The store itself is really neat, and I think they even have a Christmas section year-round!
