It has a modern country chic decor. Many of the stylists are young and fun and have great personalities. They also have a very collaborative environment, helping each other out with different tasks and making the cuts and colors go by quicker. Now, I've gone to see Danielle for almost 2 years now. She has both cut and colored my hair. I am so impressed by her coloring, which looks incredible. She's seriously given new life to my hair, which often looks dead by the time I come to see her. She never cuts it too short or forces me to do something I don't want. She knows my face shape though and skin tone to make whatever she's doing look best. On top of everything, I found this place to be quite reasonable. I have a TON of hair and most places around here would likely charge me over $200 to get a balayage, toner, and style. Jay Marie charged me $150, which I think is very fair for the top notch quality.

They have good hours and are extremely flexible. I am very much a "same-day-appointment" type of girl and they have always been able to accommodate me! They always have at least 3-5 stylists on the floor, so someone is almost always available to do a cut, color or treatment. I always get my waxes done here too, when I'm in the area. They do a great job. Oh, and they have free wifi! Whenever getting my makeup done for a special occasion, I always get Ora. She is the BEST with makeup. Whenever I go in for a facial, I get Sabrina. She is such a sweetheart and her facials are so relaxing and therapeutic. She even puts essential oils in the room to help open up my sinuses. Danya has always done a great job with my hair too. I love their deep conditions! I love how they just treat you like family here. They really get to know you and remember you once you've gone there a few times, which I love. I can go on and on about this place and how wonderful it is, but you should just go try it yourself. Once you go, you'll be hooked!

Mom couldn't get out much but there was one thing she always did - was go to the Scissori and make sure her red hair was done. She talked about the girls frequently to me. The salon is clean, open and airy with a nice R&B playlist going in the background! You know how with some stylists when they blow dry and use a flat iron/curler to your hair you can feel the extreme heat on your scalp and ear? I didn't feel a thing the entire time. I was absolutely comfortable and didn't need to hold down or cover my ear like I'm used to doing. They'll be seeing me again! Very satisfied!

Go but beware! One size fits all approach…read more I've been here a few times. Nash is always so nice and attentive. Great conversation and seems knowledgeable about hair care. The next time I went, my stylist was a much larger gentleman (not sure of his name) who used ALOT of heat. That's fine if the hair strands are thick and can handle it, but one look at my hair and you can see that each strand is fine. Although he did use heat protectant, he passed once with Marcels, then again with flat irons, and then again to curl with the flat irons. My hair was basically flat to my head with curls at the bottom. Fluffing didn't help. Fast forward two weeks, a deep condition, hair mask, steam treatment, and wash... the heat damage is irreversible. I'm not mad at anyone. It was the risk I took. Bottom line: The service isn't personalized to your hair or even your hair type. Just whatever makes your hair look aesthetically appealing, regardless of the method or the damage it may cause.
