I can't remember the masseuse for the deep tissue massage, but this review is for my prenatal massage. Wow! It was amazing! The masseur's name was Eugene and he was very attentive to my aches and pains. I am currently 38 weeks pregnant, so my back was tense. I was given pillows in between my legs and one for my head for added comfort since I can't lay on my stomach. For it being just an hour, I was afraid that he wouldn't be able to get all of my knots and soreness out but I was surprised how efficient he was. I was so relaxed after my massage that I slept like a baby that night! I will definitely be going again and have finally found a good massage therapist!

It's so good that I make it a point to go every two weeks for a 90 minute massage. My massage therapist is Eugene and I highly recommend him. I have no problem tipping, however don't hound me for it. Don't even ask! If its mandatory then it's not a tip. I'll be damned if I have to feel humiliated when GIVING someone my money. Shanti Wellness Center and Fran Candelaria owner, yoga teacher and massage therapist extraordinaire…read morereview I cannot recommend Shanti Wellness Center enough, and even more so, the extraordinary healing touch of Fran. This morning, I started my day with her 9 AM yoga class, which was an incredible way to open both body and mind--especially before the hour-long massage that followed. Fran is nothing short of a wonder--a fantastic, intuitive massage therapist unlike any I have ever met. Her touch is one of love and nurturing, like that of a guardian angel guiding the body toward deep healing. She understood my inner workings better than I did--not only my muscle tissue but also my energetic flow, unlocking and releasing in ways I didn't even realize I needed. At Shanti Wellness, you don't just receive a massage--you experience a holistic healing journey. Fran seamlessly integrates hydrotherapy, cupping, tuning forks, sound bowls, meditation flutes, and singing bowls, creating a truly multidimensional treatment. Her expertise goes beyond the massage table--she has also guided tens of thousands of students into the field of massage, sharing her wisdom and mastery with the world. Beyond Fran's incredible gifts, Shanti Wellness itself is a haven of harmony, love, and balance. The collective of healers here radiates warmth and authenticity, making this the most welcoming environment I've ever stepped into. Shanti is my new home--and I have no doubt you will find a home here as well. If you're looking for true healing, look no further!
