Once you pick the fruits, you pay for them by weight. They have a small truck to take you to the farm and they keep coming back every 15 mins to pick you up too. They also have some cute farm animals. They have a lot of farm to table stuff for sale. We bought some pasta sauce from their farm grown peppers and it was delicious. We also tried their apple cider slushie. I will keep coming back!

We arrived around 10:15 (they open at 10) and they had people directing us where to park. It was really simple and easy. There were so many trees all around, with all the tree areas labeled for the various kind of apples. We were shocked to see that we didn't have people lined up waiting, but were able to capture some pictures. There is a corn-maze and you can pick as many apples as you want (I think it's weigh by the pound?) and they had some beautiful mums for sale as well! I highly recommend coming out for the fun space (including a hayride) if that's something you're interested in, but know that the later you go, the parking will be hectic, crowds will be ample and you'll have a lot to wait for. The other thing is that there is 3 different "Crane's" locations in the same area. They are all technically owned and operated by different people, so it just depends on which one you'd like to go to!

It's a great deal compared to what we pay at our farmers market and I found their batch to be more thoughtful- no green ones, minimal leaves, and not many I had to toss. That's a win in my book. Their blueberries were also juicy, firm, and tart. The best we've had and I believe was their Elliott variety. We also purchased their blackberries, the best purple plums we've ever had, some small yellow plums, and two jars of Queens jam for gifting (which we were told is loved by them!). Back to those plums though...do not skip! All in all the price was fair and wound up to about $31. We would definitely stop again on the way up from Chicago if we're early enough but definitely on the way back from metro Detroit. The staff was also helpful in choosing the best fruits. We popped by on a misty October afternoon, grabbed our cart after sampling some of the apples, and went out on our mission to find both baking and snacking apples for our family. The property is well manicured and organized, and the woman who was sampling the apples was extremely well informed on the varieties. They also have a small pumpkin patch on site, as well as some mums and ornamental gourds for sale. They are located just up the road from the pie shop and restaurant making it a fun afternoon to visit both.
