I worked with her for a few months to find a new rental, we had submit applications not knowing if it would get accepted or not as most of our applications had been rejected. One of the application was accepted but we were no longer untested in the rental as a bigger place had coke on the market. She started to be pushing stating that the application had been accepted and now we have to sign it. With this she refused to show us another listing. I tried to end the relationship but she came to her common senses and parasitic mind and asked to keep working with us. This was a huge mistake on my end. We put in an application for another rental, which she had sent over but it had been a week without any updates. Therefore, I reached out to the person listing on the rental on Zillow, which was the owner. He stated he was waiting to hear back from the gang while the agent was telling me she was waiting on him. I ended my relationship with the parasitic agent and went to complete the lease process with the owner through zilllow. After I had sighed the lease and was ready to move in a week, the unethical parasitic agent started blowing up the owners phone threaten legal action on the owner for renting us his property. This lead the owner to freak out and cancel the lease agreement. Which left us no choice as we need to move out of this rental within 2 weeks. This is unethical, breach of duty and unprofessional. I had reported her action to the manager but I have not heard back from them in over 3 weeks. I will be taking legal action.

Oh. My. God. RED…read moreFLAG #1: Weichert Property Management is such a poorly-run and poorly-managed company that they are in a seemingly continuous state of rebranding. In my time as their client, they were first known as Weichert Property Management. They then rebranded and became known as Aureus Property Management. Now -- (not so) shockingly -- Weichert Property Management is back, baby...and worse than ever. From a client's standpoint, these transitions have been exhausting and tedious, and incredibly, with each rebranding their service has only gotten worse, not better. RED FLAG #2: Weichert Property Management/Aureus Property Management is impossible to find reviews for online. (In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this review itself were to magically disappear overnight.) I've been told by my revolving door of property managers at Weichert that they serve a couple hundred of clients; so, it makes little sense to me that there's not a SINGLE review to be found online of Weichert Property Management in the NJ area, nor a SINGLE review to be found online of Aureus Property Management. Is there someone at Weichert working around the clock to rid the internet of reviews? These people, clearly, do NOT want you to know what you're getting yourself into. RED FLAG #3: Weichert Property Management/Aureus Property Management is unresponsive. Period. I grew to realize that receiving a response within a month of my initial contact -- whether sending an email or leaving a voicemail -- was as good as it was going to get with these people. This unresponsiveness was consistent throughout my multiple years as their client. RED FLAG #4: Weichert Property Management/Aureus Property Management did not perform a thorough move-in and move-out inspection across multiple tenants of mine -- leaving me with absolutely no record of damage done to my unit -- and I've spend thousands of dollars in improvements that are due to Weichert's failed oversight. Furthermore, my unit incurred flood damage in the basement that my tenants made Weichert aware of within hours of noticing it -- yet I wasn't made aware until almost two weeks later. Talking with two of my realtor friends, they were not at all surprised by my experience. Apparently, word in the industry is that Weichert's property management services are indeed, a complete joke and an utter disgrace. I only wish I'd gotten away from them sooner! RUN -- do not walk -- from this property management company.

Consistent with the other reviews I see here, I would avoid Weichert Property Management at all…read morecosts. Constant turnover, lack of follow up, unresponsive, dropped the ball not once but twice on paying property taxes and won't respond to calls to settle and close the account.

Security downstairs dismissed us disrespectfully (can't blame them for not being able to do anything.) Those are the positives. And now, the negatives The billboard on Route 10 advertising rentals available has LUXURY APARTMENTS in big big letters. These are FAR from luxury. The cheap carpet sheds like a golden retriever in July, the kitchen is complete with bottom of the line appliances, countertops are formica like. It gets worse. You think your dishes are clean, but the Russian on-site maintenance dudes tell you that it's the water softener. The dishes and silverware have a whitish patina on them, WHEN THEY'RE CLEAN? It gets worser! The non English speaking outside contractors hired by this cheap arse real estate company, violate your privacy by working on and from your terrace without sufficient notice (as provided by NJ law). Imagine waking up to contractors outside your bedroom window, on your leased terrace, doing gutter work at 7AM. Now imagine your blinds are open, and you're barely dressed. Welcome to Powder Mill Heights. I'm sorry I leased here, and the cost of moving and paying more farther away is unfortunately locking me in. Don't make the same mistake I made.
