There are 4 cottages all with the same layout. Each cottage has a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite with a fireplace, full kitchen complete with a gas range. In the center of each, there is a one bedroom suite with a room exclusively for the hottub and a small kitchen. It is rented as either a two bedroom (either end of the cottage), three bedroom (an end and the center one bedroom), five bedroom (the entire cottage). It is a timeshare. It can be rented out. We have stayed there at least five times. It is peaceful there even with the construction going on. They recently renovated to make more modern.

But then to get woken up at 7:30am with loud banging literally right next door was frustrating. I think it's great your trying to imprOve and expand but then be honest with me and I would have waited to spend my $577 when the construction was over. My friend works construction everyday and took today (Monday) off of work to get away and relax with me and we dealt with it the whole time. Also I think it's pretty unsanitary to have the breakfast food literally NEXT to rooms that are being worked on. I could see dust coming from a room very close to wear all the fruit and other food was laying out.

The indoor and outdoor pools are absolutely amazing--perfect for kids and adults alike. The outdoor pool has a super fun vibe, and the indoor pool is spotless and a great option for rainy or cooler days, or a night swim. The rooms were super clean -- genuinely well-kept and comfortable. You can tell the staff takes real pride in maintaining the property. Everything felt fresh and inviting. The management is incredibly friendly and responsive. From the moment we checked in with Brad (owner) we felt welcomed. They were happy to answer questions, offer suggestions on local eats and attractions, and really seemed to care about our experience. There was minimal overhead lighting which wasn't great for the younger kids. Overall it was a nice experience if you don't want to splurge or get overwhelmed by the bigger indoor waterparks in the Dells!

I went here over the summer and the room wasn't the cleanest, it was clean but I found a few spots where the cleaning people missed in the bathroom such as other strands of hair and a stain on the outside sheet, there was not really a closet so I could hang my wet clothes it was in the open and just had a few hangers, they had a washer and dryer which was really nice although it wasn't cleanest there was a lot of sand in the dryer when I just wanted to dry my towels after the water park. Walls where decent I didn't hear much other than the running of kids outside my hall, it's either that or the upstairs people didn't make that much noise, overall for the price it was cheaper than other hotels.

Not a lot of seating though, and very bad security or service. We had towels stolen and I even caught a family trying to steal me and my friends towels and phones while we were swimming, thankfully my stomach hurt so I caught them and nothing major was taken. We just got back from a fantastic family trip to Kalahari, and it truly is a "park once and forget…read moreyour car" kind of place. If you're looking for convenience, this is it. There is a massive selection of water slides both inside and outside. Even in the middle of winter, the indoor waterpark is kept at a very comfortable 84 degrees, so you never feel that "shiver" when you get out of the water. They do provide towels at the park, but it's a "check-out" system. If you are staying at the resort, it's free using your wristband, but you must return them before you leave the waterpark area for the day or you will be charged. The RFID wristbands are a game changer. They serve as your room key, your park pass, and your wallet. It's incredibly convenient to be cash-free--you can just tap to pay for lunch, drinks, or arcade games. A word of caution: definitely keep an eye on your tab! Because everything is a simple "tap" away, the spending can add up incredibly fast. It's easy to lose track of the total until checkout. Yikes! You honestly don't even need to leave the resort. We loved that everything is connected internally--no walking outside in the Wisconsin weather required. * Tom Foolerys & Movies: There's a direct hallway that leads you right to the indoor theme park and the cinema. * Dining: There are several restaurants right there in that same connected area. They are definitely on the pricey side, but the convenience makes up for the price. Even though you don't need to leave, the resort is in a perfect spot right off the interstate. There's a gas station immediately nearby, which is super handy for a quick pit stop on your way out of town. Overall, a 5-star experience for family fun and pure convenience.
