Let me review this step by step…read more I called several large well know contractor companies. That replacement Impact windows doors Impact roll down Screens said. 1st reply I received was a personal from Drill Sergeant Const. They were quick to answer my questions. 2-3 days later we had other companies to follow up. We did take the time to get 3-4 estimates all seemed pretty much in line. The difference was John came to our house 2 times Once was to introduce products of windows Impact screens and then John came back 2nd time to review job and cost. We decided to go with Drill Sergeant after 3 other companies actually sent us their estimates by email and no to very little follow up. Then John explained all their procedures once more. To our surprise John explained that our final inspection would be preformed by Brett he is the Supervisor and Forman that inspects all jobs for Final Inspection "3 times" This eliminate 99% of any issues before ordering our windows, door and 2 impact screens. The constant communication and follow up we never had to call! Quality of workmanship and materials was as we expected. Installer was very neat. Did a great job and everything fit as all the extra efforts were really worth it to us. Would highly recommend this company for quality, service, price and workmanship. After the installation there were a few issues. Doors were missing hardware, Screw holes uncovered, screw holed damaged, broken floor tile (and never said anything about it). Doors have a gap you can see outside light. Called the office spoke to Anne and she scheduled me for someone to come by and asses. I do NOT RECOMMEND this company…read more I had three type of hurricane shutters recently installed on my home in Cape Coral. These shutters were to replace the metal panels I had. I wanted shutters I could easily open and close by myself. Two months after installation hurricane Milton arrived. A couple of the Bahama shutter locking device did not line up with the bolt. Therefore, not all were bolted down with all the bolts they installed. 1 1/2 hours into the storm one accordion shutter opened. Luckily Milton winds for Cape Coral were half of what hurricane IANs were and lasted less than half the time of IAN. The next day I could not get two of my (5) new electric roll down shutters hand cranked up. I called Wild West a couple of days after the storm. The installation guys came out within a couple days to adjust. I asked them to tell the owner/manager that the lock pin on my accordion shutter's measures 3/8" and the whole they fit in is 1/2". I looked online and longer lock pins are available. I said to tell them I want longer lock pins for my 5 accordion shutters otherwise I will not feel safe during the next hurricane. A few days later I called their office number and ask what was the status of locks with longer pins for my accordion shutter? The lady said she will past my message on to the office. Today the installers showed up to tell me the owner said they could not get or have locks with longer pins. So the owner who states on their website that they personally go to all installations never came to my house. They also sent the installer to tell me instead of calling me himself. Very poor customer service!
