That morning, both of my kids ended up home due to stomach issues, so I didn't really want to have someone coming over, especially when our bathrooms were in high demand that morning. I called and asked to reschedule. He didn't seem to happy and said that he'd be in touch. A month later and I haven't heard from him. Apparently a small bathroom remodel isn't worth his time. I'd prefer to hire someone who treats all jobs with the same level of professionalism. I was able to find a contractor who was much more personable and did such an amazing job that I've hired him to do my living room and kitchen as well. Lesson learned, if they don't seem interested, they aren't. His lack of interest in a smaller job actually worked in my favor as I was able to find an amazingly talented professional who was very conscientious of working around our family as opposed to us working around him. Talent and professionalism on a $4,000 job earned him a $20,000 job.
