I don't think we will ever get over these flowers, it's been months and we are still going back and looking at photos of them. Leading into the wedding we knew we wanted to use all local Maine florals, laidback bud vases that didn't feel overdone but were beautiful in their uniqueness, and happy colors. Megan was able to take what we were envisioning, talk us through how she could execute it and enhance it, and exceeded anything we could have imagined. From the individual flowers that she selected to how they were arranged for our ceremony chuppah, our beautiful small bouquets, and our magical table arrangements, they made every moment of our day and night feel magical, they were scene-setting florals. We highly recommend hiring Field Floral Studio, for Megan's knack for picking the perfect unique flowers, eye for stunning arrangements, and for the all around laidback but professional experience. read more

HIGHLY recommend FIELD for any event you are working on. They did an intake with me on the general aesthetic, truly listened to what we were doing (a celebration of life for our 104 year old grandma), and aligned the floral vision to a look/feel that was exactly on point for something she would have LOVED. The team was early this morning, helped primp the arrangements and helped place them for us. Overall a top notch experience from start to finish. They could go toe to toe with any high-end florist back home in San Francisco. read more

Originally growing up in Maine, my go to was Harmon's to order flowers from. I now live out of state and wanted to send my friend flowers for her birthday. I stumbled across FIELD and the website was simple, but the style of flower arrangement and flower selection was the exact aesthetic I was looking for. I placed an order online, a week in advance, and chose Sunday delivery. I was surprised that there's Sunday delivery, but mostly thrilled by this option. It was around noon when I decided to call because there was no update on the arrangement being delivered. When I called, no one answered, so I decided to shoot a text. I got an immediate response and it was extremely easy to get updates. My friend received a beautiful arrangement and we couldn't be happier with the outcome!!! This sill now be my go to place for flowers in Maine, as well as all my friends. It was such a smooth experience and the price point is unbeatable! read more

I contacted Megan in a floral emergency, and she came to the rescue! My sister-in-law texted us the night before, asking us to witness her marriage to her boyfriend the following day at 1:30 pm. They decided to get married at the city hall with no frills at the last minute, but I wanted her to feel special by having a beautiful bouquet. I texted Megan in the morning, half expecting to be turned down. My SIL is an artist/art store manager, and she has good taste. I didn't want to get her a regular bouquet. To my surprise, Megan pleasantly accepted the challenge on an extremely short notice. She said she could deliver the bouquet at the city hall at 1:00 pm - and she did! The flowers and plants used were beautiful, and it was no ordinary bouquet. My photo doesn't really do it justice, since it's more multi-dimensional. The bride adored it and said, "This is perfect. So beautiful." Thank you for saving us. If you ever need a special and thoughtful floral arrangement, I highly recommend Field Floral Studio! read more

The most gorgeous flowers. I am in California and had to buy an arrangement last minute for my daughter in Portland. Reverted to my old Yelp and Field did mot disappoint! They did a last minute delivery on a Friday and they were just so beyond the normal Flowers.com crapola. My daughter was so tickled. Additionally my husband of course wasn't listened and ordered as well, and it was quickly rectified and the second order refunded. They didn't answer the phone but responded quickly to text. read more

I needed (8) floral arrangements for 30" cocktail tables. I researched several florists in the area, viewed their websites and their social channels, and I reached out, received an email back with pricing. I was quoted $75 per piece. This is slightly higher than what I pay in Boston, but not outrageous. However, given the Maine market, this a little steep (this is my opinion based off my experience - 15+ years of event management, but honestly this is not the issue). I asked to see a sample photo of what the piece might look like - I wasn't expecting her to create a sample arrangement - just a photo of something she might have done recently that was similar and would show the size. Megan replied back referring me to her site and social for samples and explained her design technique is light and airy, seasonal flowers, and about 8-12 inches wide. As one can imagine, it's super difficult to get a sense of size based off a picture with no context, and if I'm going to pay $75 per piece, I don't want "light and airy" greens with a few flowers. I was hoping she would provide a sample image to help me grasp what she had in mind. It was clear that she did not want to take the time to do this, which would have taken 15 seconds. That 15 seconds cost her the job. I realize this is not a large order compared to a wedding or other large scale event, so perhaps next time, Megan, just say you don't want to do the job. Good customer service goes a long way, especially in today's social media and internet-driven culture. read more

Beautiful flowers for my small, informal wedding! I wanted bright, colorful blossoms that looked like they'd been picked from a garden (not flown in from a flower farm). They were perfect and absolutely made my day! Megan was great at communicating, really listened to my wishes, and made the pictures in my mind's eye into a gorgeous reality. I couldn't be happier! read more

FIELD - Floral arrangement for Mother's Day - Floral Designers Near Me

Field flowers has been helping me make up for my procrastination on special days for years. Megan has thoughtfully assembled last-minute arrangements that I've called in only hours earlier and had it delivered to our doorstep on time. My wife was thrilled, my mother was thrilled, and I'm thrilled. I don't know much about flowers but I know that I love Field's work. And I know that I really appreciate where the flowers come from and that they're being arranged by an artist- this is really important to me and it shines through in Megan's work and business. I can't say enough about Field. Look nowhere else. read more

My mom used to own a florist. This is the only place in the last 10 years that I have tried to send my mom flowers from and they were actually worthy. Highly recommend. read more

I've ordered here twice, once for my mil's bday and the second time for Mother's Day. Needless to say, I think the florist knows her craft. The Mother's Day arrangement was beautiful and my mil was very happy with it. I liked that I can communicate with the florist via text. I highly recommend this studio. read more

Very dis-satisfied. Megan ru a an address-less website which asks you to call/email...although these are either not answered or not answered promptly. Website states "open until 5" although they are apparently closed. Well site states "same day delivery" although once reached, she notes "no delivery for 2 days" and I tunes this problem is the customer's. read more

While planning, my then-fiancee and I were frustrated as we searched for florists for our wedding. It seemed like every time we found someone whose style was aligned with ours, they were WAY out of our price range. Then we found Megan and Field Floral Studio. Not only were Megan's prices the most reasonable we'd ever encountered, but we connected with her laid back and cheerful personality immediately. Some people were amazed that we were okay with not knowing exactly what our flowers would look like (Megan works only with in-season, locally sources blooms) but both her passion for sustainable, locally-sourced flowers and her beautiful portfolio meant that we never had a moment of doubt. In the end, our flowers were absolutely stunning and we got so many comments on how beautiful they were. Megan was so receptive to our ideas and tastes and designed arrangements that were more beautiful than we could have imagined. We highly recommend Megan and Field Sustainable Flowers for anyone looking for relaxed and romantic florals for their big day! read more

I'm not a frequent flower buyer, but when I learned a close relative was going into surgery at Maine Medical I wanted to do something nice and immediate. I placed on order online the same morning I received the unfortunate news. After placing the order I called Megan and she assured me the flowers would be delivered that evening. Sure enough I received a pleasant text from Megan around 5:30 that day asking what room my relative was in. Turns out I had mistaken my relatives last name, but Megan was diligent and patient. I knew the flowers were successfully delivered when my relative called with a rave review. read more

FIELD is amazing! My husband surprised me with the January bouquet subscription and every week I got these gorgeous arrangements that completely brightened my day. These are not your typical cheesy floral arrangements -- they're not only as local as possible, they also just have this beautiful wild flair to them. So unique and lovely. Since then we have gotten a few arrangements as centerpieces for parties and gifts for friends and have always gotten a ton of compliments. And the owner is super friendly and responsive. This review is long overdue. I really wanted sustainable flowers for my wedding and magically found this beautiful website for Field Sustainable and the website perfectly conveys the work they do - simply gorgeous. I had a pretty set idea about what I wanted and Megan and I had some quick emails back and forth. She used some great imagery to convey different concepts, and then bang - the magic happened - she delivered the most gorgeous wedding bouquet and flowers. More than just gorgeous flowers and amazing arrangements, her clear communication and responsiveness made the process so easy. This really makes a vendor that you will trust for life. read more

It was a joy working with FIELD, and a real highlight of the wedding planning process for me! I met up with Megan, the owner, for a consult last Fall and I was so excited that she understood the type of look I was going for, and could add her own personal touch to it as well :-) Everything was beautiful - and exactly how I would've pictured it! Thank you for adding that special touch to our special day! read more

Over the past few years I have ordered small birthday arrangements as well as large event/holiday centerpieces from Field. Each creation has been uniquely beautiful, no matter the season. I love that Megan uses locally sourced plant materials when possible and then selects the most sustainable alternatives when that is not an option. Even in the dead of winter, Megan comes up with jaw-droppingly beautiful arrangements. Added to that the customer service is flawless - Megan is one of the nicest people on the planet and will do everything to make your dreams come true - even if you call at the last minute. Perfection! read more

I'm living outside of Maine and wanted to send flowers there. I was in search of a local small business that I could trust. I didn't want to order the same old standard arranged flowers, like 1-800 flowers etc, but was looking for something with a more personal touch. I found that in Field. What a pleasure to work with Megan, who I believe is the owner. The arrangement was absolutely Lovely! Just perfect! Thank you Field, & Megan, what a personal, experience I felt I had, & what a simply beautiful artistic flower arrangement. read more

Impeccable. Lovely. Divine. Heartfelt. Where do I even start? I called Megan at FIELD just before Thanksgiving & we chatted about a very special arrangement I wanted to send to my newborn baby niece, brother & sister-in-law. We chatted at length about what specific flowers, berries & greenery would work well. Megan also agreed to deliver the arrangement to my brother's home - which is outside of her normal delivery zone. Impressive. Fast forward to the scheduled flower delivery date = massive snowstorm & terrible road conditions, which made it impossible for FIELD to deliver the flowers. The weather cleared up the next day, which was Thanksgiving, and Megan personally drove 40+ miles to deliver the flowers to my family on Thanksgiving morning. Amazing!! She knew how much the arrangement meant to me & she literally went the extra mile(s) to make it happen. Everyone said the flowers were just beautiful. Wonderful experience overall. FIELD is just incredible & I will certainly order again! read more
