First, I registered on the H&R Block (North Prov) website. I was assigned to a lady named Diane. She was positively wonderful. I had brought all the necessary paperwork in a folder with me. I also had a good amount of paperwork that was sent to me by my employer but was not necessary. Diane patiently organized everything for me. The software at H&R Block is exceptional. Everything is very straightforward and easy to understand plus Diane explained everything. Once Diane had set everything up on the computer, we went through everything and I electronically signed each document. By the way, the North Providence office has recently been renovated. I do not know what it looked like previously but it is a very calming environment. The young lady at the front desk was also friendly and cordial. What a great atmosphere, and the service was exceptional.

My tax preparer was terrific, she worked with me for an hour and I was extremely happy with the knowledge and expertise she showed in the process. I'll be going back again next year

Bob explained that it depends on several factors and the computer generates the price. he then asked about what i paid last year i showed him my paperwork that i brought. Bob said come sit down he would go through my whole tax and when the fees come up i i still think they are to high i didn't have to file them. i sad ok and st down. after getting my info and answering several questions he started to but the info in the computer. this went pretty quickly, (i actually finished before the other people who were already sitting there when i arrived) so when all was said and done he showed me my refund and the fees. they were less then last year and Bob did stand by his word saying if i still think they are to high i didnt have to file. Bob even took his time explaining all fees and what i would be getting back one by one. by far the best experience i have ever had doing my taxes. so good that this is my first Yelp review ever. go see Bob you won't be disappointed.

I did my taxes with this office twice (2015 and 2014) and twice I had to go back to the office…read morebecause they made mistakes on my paperwork and needed me to re-sign. They were also unclear about the fees. I was verbally told one amount, later when I got home and reviewed the fees I realized I paid quite a bit more (my fault for not reviewing the fees thoroughly in person).They also kept my originals, Zack the manager assured me he mailed them but I never received anything. I gave up on following up as Zack stopped returning my calls (so hopefully I won't need them).

It is required by the consulate to attach a copy. Andrea also confirmed that she does not have her's. I asked for a manager to see if maybe they keep a copy of these records on file and could help me but Rene said he was the manager and I could not speak to anyone else. Now I have to reprint all the documents as he already signed them and stamped them. He knew up front I will need this copy and the dates. Then got passive aggressive "have a nice day" on my way out.

Reading my past review I was obviously frustrated and angry. It was an isolated incidence and I am over it! I have been coming back occasionally for diferent things over the last few years and have had positive experiences. Its a bank, they perform financial transactions and in that sense they are all the same. What differentiates banks is thier convenience and the attitudes of the employees. I will say this branch now gets and A. Close to home, cheery tellers that tolerate and participate in banter and being open on Sunday for a few hours is huge!

The staff are very nice people and i enjoy paying my monthly bills here , it is fast and easy . It costs $2.00 per bill , but if you were to call your gas company for instance , they would transfer you to a 3rd party who would intern charge you $3.50 , so it is a win ! they also offer prepaid debit cards and small short term loans ( not recommended no matter where you get them ). Overall this location which is the only one i have experience with is a great place to stop and pay your bills .
