They got HALF of the order wrong!! (The other half was in one size). Crazy thing is that I sent them The measurements in cm and inches! And I'm not talking about mm or cm bigger, I mean INCHES bigger!! That's a huge difference!! And a huge inconvenience!! I don't understand why the SPECIFIC measurements I ordered came all wrong! And to top it off, there reps had asked me why I did not measure each piece before using them?? How does this question even make sense?? It was a specific measurement ordered.. I should not have to!! I gave them the chance to fix the order - I reached out several times- But In nooo way were they interested in fixing there mistakes. Customer Service ZERO!! To add, there prices are no different than anywhere else, there location was just more convenient at that time, and I was going to refer a lot of clients to them ( I even filled out a business form to register with them) but they just ended up costing me more because I now had to fix there mistakes!! We purchased exterior doors from them, paid in full, and the result has been a complete nightmare of defective workmanship and zero accountability. The Issues: * Active Water Ingress: Rainwater leaks directly under the frame and pools into our home, creating a serious risk of subfloor and structural damage. * Defective Frame Alignment: The door frame was installed so severely out of plumb that the door physically swings shut completely on its own without intervention. * Omitted Structural Components: EcoTech's own lead technician confirmed in writing that they completely omitted both a sloped sub sill drainage pan and a flashing membrane during installation. The Service: We endured 7 separate service visits. On July 3, 2026, they performed a complete full frame teardown and reinstallation, which somehow made the alignment and water leaks even worse. We acted in good faith the entire time; we even helped jump start their technician's broken down vehicle in our driveway after a visit. When repairs failed, senior management tried to hide behind a fine print handicap sill clause to disclaim responsibility for water ingress on an exterior door, completely ignoring basic implied standards under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act. Senior management ultimately stopped responding altogether once formal settlement demands were made. We are now forced to seek full remediation costs through Ontario Small Claims Court. Save yourself the money, time, and structural damage. Hire a real professional company instead.

Within less than one year from having a new front door installed by Dans, it's been nothing but problems . The wood around the striker broke shortly after install, I called them and they talk to you like you've never used a door before , they put all the blame on us for being too aggressive opening and closing the door and the project manager constantly had to leave multiple times for personal problems (which has nothing to do with the customer- we all have problems in life) ) - all this with a lifetime warranty on the door, which they point out when purchasing but they don't honour it. The hardware on the door never stays tight so every month I've have to re tighten all the hardware (which is absurd ) and they said they would try to fix the broken wood by the striker but they never return your call or show up - I'll be replacing this door before it's even 3 years old because I'm sick of the maintenance required to just keep it operational . Worst customer service I've ever had . Save your money and buy elsewhere. Buyer beware I only gave one star because I couldn't give zero stars
