I've only grabbed a coffee from here in passing, but it seems like a pleasant unassuming coffee shop in the Sale village.

A been here a few times and the only downside is the missing customer service or care. Food is good, coffee is getting better every time.

I looked for hand sanitizer at the counter but none is available. The staff aren't friendly rather perfunctory, and as likely low waged don't much care, and I don't blame them. Take the money make the coffee job done. It is not at all acceptable for a corporate business like this to do business in this way. They must have maintenance folks on the payroll and a bottle of sanitiser won't bankrupt them. This country has gone to the dogs after 14 years of incompetence by greedy bastards.

Felt awful seeing her struggle up, but luckily somebody (a customer!) went and gave it to her. He then was short with people in front of me, snapped at some dude because he the manager made a mistake. He walked off from a woman when she was halfway through asking him about a drink. shouted at another dude for asking if he can get a coffee to go if he has a dog. didn't see the problem but the manager didn't even let him finish. just shouted to get out. deffo better ways to talk to people. I got my coffee to go when I finally did get served as lunch time was over. didn't see the point of getting food. went to the little shop across the way instead. not wasting my lunchtime again. Happens too many times. also, stores filthy.

From reading previous reviews from people at Yelp, I've come to the conclusion that major Coffee…read moreshops such as Starbucks and Caffe Nero are generally hated here. But sorry....Caffe Nero has always been my go to :) I know, I know!! shhhh!!! calm down, and try your best not to bite my head off. But I've loved Caffe Nero from the start. Ever since I tried my first "White Chocolate Mocha" I was addicted, and fell in love with this brand. It also just so happens that this was the first coffee shop I ever went in to, and the first place I ordered a coffee, so that probably explains my bias opinions in favour of Nero's. But yes - the review. It's the same as every other Caffe Nero you will ever go to in England. Foreign accents from the staff, a quick service and the constant question of "With cream?" and a reliable taste. The staff tend to be friendly, but then again I never tend to make any conversation....I just want Coffee. Again, sorry for the biased opinion here, as I've only ever had White Chocolate Mocha's from Caffe Nero. And so obviously as I have no other comparable product I will sadly have to say that these are THE BEST! and well worth the +£3. Or, free if you use the loyalty scheme and have reached your 10th coffee... That's if you aren't constantly losing them, Anyway, overall :D I love this place, maybe it's because I'm a Coffee Shop noob, or the fact that I haven't found any persuasion to try anywhere else. But until someone can intrigue me to try somewhere else, Caffe Nero will be my coffee overlord, and I will maintain my loyalty to them...For now.

The décor is pretty sleek and stylish considering that they focus mostly on British cuisine. I liked how each table had a twee cutlery container - Spam, Lyle's Golden Syrup etc. There are large bi-folding windows for al fresco dining (which was perfect considering the current warm weather), and also an open kitchen where you can see the chefs in action. The staff are welcoming and attentive without being in your face, making helpful suggestions when asked. Menus change frequently, so don't rely on the website in case they haven't updated - but trust that whatever you choose will be very good quality, which is cooked and served to perfection. My lamb steak was superb and my dining companions commented that their desserts were the best they've had in a very long time. The Fat Loaf is the current leader for great dining in the Sale area, by a long margin. I'll be returning as soon as I can!

Well I was critical of this place once before. This time it was much better…read more We were five including 2 discerning under 7's. They each had sausages with beans and they chose curly type fries. I was told the sausages were from Taylor's butchers Sale - a first class place - and they looked like it and having eaten a piece they tasted just great. Not many food miles here either. Two adults had various hot chicken dishes averaging about £8. I'm losing my habit of eating chicken so I opted for a sandwich & soup on the side. I could have had veggie chilli, or stew instead of soup. This came in about £7. The soup was 'of the week', and white onion & garlic. Oh magic words onions & garlic. Keep the chicken thank you very much. They offer thee sizes of most coffees. I had a flat white coffee (£2.5 - one size only). My wife had her usual cappuccino regular size. Both coffees were excellent. I don't know if their coffee is fair trade, organic or Rainforest Alliance, or source shade - grown from sustainable green beans as no information is provided here. My seeded soft bread roll sandwich had avocado, feta cheese, chilli jam, onion, rocket and other flavour punches. It was delicious. I'd liked to have butter on the sandwich too but so many places now serve that awful chemically manufactured substitute; margarine. The only e in butter is just before the r. So we all enjoyed our food and despite a lot of the customer base being under 12 it was calm and a reasonably quiet place. Mind you our 6 year old, despite insisting on curly fries, decided instead to polish off her granny's (not too) spicy fries, much to grandma's laughter, but fear not the other under 7 was only to willing to hoover up the residual curly fries. Finally friendly service, cosy atmosphere, comfy seats and clean toilets make it a solid 4.5 star.

Quite a large cafe that has a children's activity area at the rear to occupy the kidlings while you enjoy a coffee, some brekkie or a snack and the free wifi. As it is family focussed it can get a bit rowdy and noisy on occasion so it's not the best location for a quiet coffee especially on the weekends. the cafe is a large open space with several nooks down one wall and a large open area where you order and a children's play area at the back and you order at the counter as well so there is no table service, they bring your order to you and will happily take orders for additional coffees etc. but you order and pay at the counter normally. The food is well made and the staff are always lovely. The real highlight of this location is the children's activity area where they can indulge their creative urges painting pottery or other similiar activities. There's always something going on. If you are looking for a cafe in South Manchester which is good for the family then you really can't beat this place. It isn't really ideal for couples or people without kids though purely because of the potential kids running around. But you are going in with this knowledge and there aren't enough places in Manchester that serves this demographic so they are really onto a winner.
