With all of the realtors I've worked with over the years, she was the best -bar none. For example: She dropped what she was doing, a family ski trip, to submit my offer from the ski resort. She realized how critical timing was with our offer and structured ours so that it was accepted as the seller was about to submit a counteroffer to another buyer. Knowing that I was going to be in town, on short notice, she arranged for my inspection so that I could attend. The inspector she found was far superior to the sellers and discovered several defects that were unknown to the seller. In spite of the repair cap included in my offer, Rese negotiated professional repairs of the defects that the seller provided, far exceeding the cap. She answered all of our questions or was able to obtain answers and documentation from both the seller and HOA. Replies to my emails or calls were always promptly returned. As a bonus she and her partner Chris added a home warrant to our unit. Rese is a professional who really earns your business and trust. Do yourself a favor and work with her if you need a realtor.

My apprehension was quickly put to rest when I first contacted Amy regarding buying a house. Amy was prompt in responding and set up an initial meeting to ask me about my requirements. In our first meeting, Amy explained that she runs her real estate business with her mom, Janet and her dad, Jerry - together known as The Wallin Team. After meeting with the Wallins, I left with the feeling that I have made a right choice to have them help me search for my dream home. The Wallins bring professionalism and knowledge to the table along with their friendly smile and expert advice on real estate. From the very beginning, the Wallins maintained an open and prompt line of communication. All of my questions were answered by one of the Wallins within 1-2 hours via text or email. The Wallins were ready to meet me for showings within hours of notice and made me their priority. Though I am sure they had several other clients they were working with, they always made me feel as if I am their priority. What impressed me the most was how well they treated me and how passionately all three of them got involved in my search for a dream house. Janet did a great job explaining each of the steps in details and exceeding my expectations in terms of the timeline. The Wallins had prepared a binder that was broken down in easy to understand section explaining the process and methodology of a house buying process. This was a very helpful resource. They took a lot of hassle and headache out for me as we moved along the process and Amy even came in on her birthday for the house inspection just to ensure all goes smoothly. My house closed on time and without any roadblocks. Thanks to their amazing guidance throughout the process. The Wallins offer one-of-a-kind service and now, I have new-found appreciation for real estate agents. I can't thank Janet and the Wallins enough for making one of the biggest steps in my life such a seamless process. I highly recommend their Real Estate services and expertise. Thanks again for everything you guys did for me and my family. I would definitely be recommending my friends and family to your team.

Anyway, after all said and done they assisted us as a 'buyers agent' in purchasing a townhome. Great we thought! So, they made 36k off sale of our house and received a nice buyers fee from purchase of 2nd home. Since the closing ( ~3 months) we've received mailings to please 'refer these realtors' but we have not received any thank you card or gift or any kind. We actually purchased from seller a plantar box as Debbie (realtor) bought it out from under us and I was able to purchase it from her when she realized I had first right of refusal. Long story short, she ended up buying it from me, but shorted me some money! I would also state to STAY away from her handymen they recommend as Elmer the painter left us with quite a mess we had to clean up b4 we could close! Nothing like additional last minute work when you're stressed! Unfortunately we liked these 2 'angels' but after all said and done, we would've used other agents. Things could've have been better if: They listened when we said things in new house were not working b4 closing and questioned inspector, Not insisting we spend $ on things to repair ( again their handymen they recommend) only to find out these were a waste of $ and time Playing both sides; not working for us 100% Overall, not bad realtors, just not wiling to give 100% to the seller who they're representing and earning monies from. A nice gift or card following close of both homes would've been appreciated

She's lived in Reno for a long time and didn't even need directions to get from house to house (she could navigate there just with the cross streets!). She showed us parts of Reno we didn't even know existed. Since we were relocating from the bay area, we also had our dogs with us a couple of times we were in the area - and Ardea didn't even blink an eye at us brining them along to look at houses, letting the ride in the back seat of her car. She never pressured us to make an offer, and really wanted to make sure we found something that worked for us. She sent us a thoughtful house warming gift after we had closed, and also has customer appreciation events. I would definitely work with Ardea again if we ever needed to purchase another house!
