I wish I could give Fetch Portraits more than just five out of five stars here. Jen and Jeff are a true one in a million find when it comes to wonderful humans who love what they do and it shows. I found Fetch Portraits through a good amount of searching on Yelp. After communicating with a few places and feeling like I wasn't finding a great fit, I spoke with Jen and immediately knew that we found our right fit. Jen was hilarious, welcoming, and really took time to hear about my story with my dog and my dog's personality to carefully think about ideas for good backgrounds for the shoot. There was an email breakdown after our call and communication remained clear throughout when it came to scheduling. Since we chose an outdoor photoshoot, we had to plan on not only sunshine, but other weather conditions that Jen was in communication about that are optimal for pup shoots. Jen and Jeff are true professionals, they came ready to go and left no trick behind to get some AMAZING shots for our summer photo shoot in Olive Park. We couldn't have asked for anything better. My dog is pretty relaxed, but sometimes doesn't respond to command cues and they worked their magic to establish some incredible moments. They made the day so easygoing and I was not nearly as worried as I thought I would be. Their prices for everything were beyond fair for the amount of work they put into the editing, travel, etc. In fact, I loved their photos so much that I have returned for their Halloween (or Howl-oween!!) and Christmas shoot. The sets they make for the holiday/theme shoots are INCREDIBLE and the attention to detail is something that adds such a layer of uniqueness to the experience. It's never the same :) It's quite rare to find such wonderful quality people as Jen and Jeff. Their work is top notch and I am so thankful they helped celebrate and capture the magic that is my dog Moira. I brought my pup to a Halloween Photoshoot for a holiday pop up session that was happening around select Krisers and a a couple of other local establishments. I booked my mini session for the Kildeer Krisers location and the process itself was very easy- just selected my session based on date and where they would be set up. The session itself was an affordable $35-a fraction of their full, private and customized sessions. I had to take the offer- clearly. A bonus is that you get a free print of 5X7 size which you just have to cover shipping cost. The photo shoot took no more than 5 minutes...just be sure to let them know if there's at least a few good ones that you love before leaving. The photographer was great in knowing just how to capture my pups "best side" which let's be honest, all sides are the best of my Good Boy! When the time comes to order (they upload within a couple days time) you will receive via email a link of untouched originals. Once you order they will clean up the picture -crop, photoshop the leash out, etc. Keep in mind you can order prints and or digital copies. Each photo/image is priced individually. Also, the link will have all the photos taken at that particular location and date so you may very well be subjected an overload of cuteness while searching for your beloved pup, cat, other family member, etc. You've been officially warned! That's about it! Easy process. Oh and I've been told that Fetch does all kinds holiday themed shoots and of course does private shoots as well. Jennifer is one word: AMAZING! We first encountered her when taking holiday photos at our local Kriser's and we loved the picture so much, that we went back to every holiday photo shoot after that (Halloween, Christmas, Easter) and had her take pictures of our two dogs. Then we wanted to do a mother's day photo shoot with the whole family (hubby, myself, two dogs and my 18mon old daughter) when i became ill and could not make the shoot.
