Poor grooming on butt not done properly beard not even nail not done for the price it is worth it

I found it hard to find a groomer who was local, answered the phone, had availability to take new clients, and did quality work. After having mediocre experiences with other groomers, I finally found Fetch It -- and they're great! It's a cute little shop right in Bedford Center and easy to find. I can't say enough good things about them, they're so nice to work with and reasonably priced. My dog is a Beagle, so he gets a bath and a nail trim, and always leaves looking like a million bucks. Even his vet was impressed at how thoroughly clean his ears were, and what great shape they were in. Everyone at Fetch It is also very sensitive to my pup's shyness and inability to use a crate, which I appreciate. Just a note to bring cash, as it's cash-only. Highly recommend! read more

Fetch It does a fantastic job! We have always been extremely happy with the way our dog Nacho has come out after bringing him for grooming services. The owner Laurie is very nice, genuine and caring. Laurie, her husband and the others we have met seem to really care about the dogs and the quality of the work they do! I never worry about how my dog is going to be treated when I bring him. That is really important! I learned that the increase in cost is often related to the amount of work that is required on your pet. If the dog is matted or has tight knots that need to be carefully and almost surgically removed, it will take much longer and the cost is going to go up compared to a regular cut. It makes complete sense! As they say, you get what you pay for. My dog would always shake and be scared when bringing him to other places, but never when I bring him to Fetch It. I trust them with my dog, and I have always been pleased and happy with the way he looks after bringing him to Fetch It! read more

Confirm pricing in advance. I have taken our 22 pound pooch for grooming for 3 years, paying $80 (excluding tip). Yesterday I picked up my dog to learn the bill was $125. Ok there was a list price increase of $20 (not stated in advance). But the unexpected add-ons were a shock. I'm taking my best friend elsewhere. Also make sure you are comfortable with the process timing. Lots of pets get dropped off at 9:00. Hard to get a pick up until end of day. So a long nervous day at the groomers. read more

I went to Fetch It last week. This was my second time using them to groom my dog. They were very friendly and professional and I loved the cut they gave my Lexie. She returned home looking like a fancy breed, when in reality she is a rescued mixed breed from Kentucky. I will certainly return to Fetch It for her next grooming. I am very pleased! read more

I am very pleased with the service and staff at FetchIt. They asked me what I wanted for my dogs cut, did exactly what I needed, and he obviously had a great time. Afterwards I treated him to a new fleece which the owner helped me pick out and made sure it fit him. I do a lot of my own grooming, but Fetch It is where I'll go when I can't do it myself. And now that I know they stock our food brand, I'll be buying local to keep this store around. read more

What a wonderful, sweet, personal shop. They always remember my dog - even though I only bring her a few times a year. This morning my dog escaped when I was dropping her off. She always has a great time there, and is beautiful afterwards!, but for some reason is scared to go in. The groomer came out and actually caught her when I was unable to do it. She'd already run across the road twice, so she may well have saved my dog's life! read more

My young dog had been groomed at Fetch It since he was a puppy with decent results and good reports on his behavior during the process. However, the groomers have changed and now my dog is misbehaving and the last grooming was terrible. He was there from 8:30 in the morning until 4:30 in the afternoon and he looked as if he virtually had not been touched at all---except for the gouge in the fur on his side, which is now growing in differently than the rest of his coat. He had been bathed, but his toenails hadn't even been clipped. Obviously this wasn't a good experience for my dog, and although I know he is wiggly because he's young, I believe that his long day there probably didn't help the situation. In addition, the price went up drastically---from $45 to $60 plus tip (which I paid before seeing the results), making this a very expensive non-haircut. The groomers seem like nice people, but after the last experience, I won't be returning. read more

Their grooming is always a little sloppy, store not always open when it's supposed to be, sometimes have my dog's food, sometimes not. I would recommend K-Nine Comforts in Billerica. More careful, much larger variety of food and accoutrements, cheaper, too. read more

Cut my dog's ear and refused to pay her vet bill. I have been going to fetch it for nearly 8 years. I bring my 2 dogs and 2 cats there regularly. I would consider myself friendly with the owner. Over the years, I've spent a ton of money in the store as well. The last time I brought my 2 dogs there when I picked them up there was blood on the floor. Lori the owner said my dogs nails had been trimmed too short and patched him up. She also noticed that my other dog, Emma's, ears were a little uneven and she trimmed them up quickly. I took them both home and noticed blood on the dog bowl when Emma finished drinking. When she shook her head there was blood all over the kitchen. I then followed her around the house and she got blood on me, my 2 year old and all of our furniture. Fetch it was closed so I called my vet. The vet said I should bring her in. The vet said ears bleed a lot if nicked and they bandaged her ear and she had to wear an e- collar for a week and be on antibiotics for 2 weeks I had to bring her back to the vet a second time for a check up. When they asked me where it happened they said they weren't surprised. I figured it was an accident so I called and nicely explained the situation to the fetch it voicemail. Lori (the owner) called and denied anything being wrong with Emma and said she wanted to see her. When I brought her in 2 weeks later she said she didn't see evidence of a cut and refused to pay the bill. She refused to apologize. Her groomer was also rude to me. Lori denied it was her fault and she said Emma must've scratched her ear with a sharp nail because they'd just been cut. Lori also said that if she was at fault my dog was so terrible to groom and no one else would possibly groom her that it was my Dog's fault that this happened. She also said that it was my fault because it had been awhile since she'd last been groomed. She also said it wasn't worth it to her to pay my vet bill and said i overreacted and shouldn't have brought her to the vet in the first place. I had just spent nearly 200 dollars in her store!!! 100+ on grooming, 80 on products and 20+ on tips! What happened to good customer service? I broke down in tears because I was so shocked that she was unapologetic and refused to help me out- she said if I really really couldn't "afford" to pay the vet bill she could plenty afford it and would but didn't think she should pay it. I said all I wanted was to be treated nicely and an apology and she finally delivered a lackluster- we didn't do anything wrong but if we did I guess we're sorry apology. This was a mean side I'd never seen of her before. I would've been willing to split the bill or have settled for a genuine apology. I got neither. I love to support small businesses and would've gladly come back if I had been treated well. I am normally am an extremely loyal customer but I will NEVER again bring my dog to this place. I would NOT recommend it to a friend either. She has lost a loyal customer and thousands of future revenue from me alone all for refusal to be courteous and consider splitting a 120 dollar vet bill. read more
