The fashions are very French and québécois. My wife loves the French stockings and that was the reason for this trip. She gets a lot of compliments on her stockings at work. There is also a very large women's clothing and accessories section and a smaller men's section. The women's section is always crowded with shoppers.

I remember when this mall ( and the rest of the stores in Quebec) was closed on Sundays- The day of rest. The mall has an array of of chain shops from the US, Canada and Europe. A very interesting place to check out. The shops range from high end shops to practical dollar stores. This is a great place to spend a killer cold winter weekend day. I try hard not to make purchases here as the exchange rate is not strong as it was in the 90's.

Donna, the lady running the store that day, pulled dress after dress, helping me don, button, zip and snap. She made careful suggestions and seemed as disappointed as I was each time the dress was too large, too small or didn't suit. As I was about to give up, she brought one more dress to the fitting room, apologizing because it was blue. It fit me like it was made for me, was a style I loved and everyone at the wedding complimented me on it. My daughter was totally on board with both of us being in blue, too.
