We like Simons for clothing for my wife. I am a tall American man and I can't fit into the clothes. Simons has stores across Canada but I believe it is primarily a Quebec chain. The fashions are very French and québécois. My wife loves the French stockings and that was the reason for this trip. She gets a lot of compliments on her stockings at work. There is also a very large women's clothing and accessories section and a smaller men's section. The women's section is always crowded with shoppers. read more

Went to a few stores for jeans in the mail here in Sherbrooke, Canada, and was surprised to learn…read morethat the length on all were 34" so they had to be tailored. Stopped at Old Navy and the prices were $30-$40 cheaper and they were already hemmed to size. The selection of all their casual wear is very good and didn't really compromise.

I remember when this mall ( and the rest of the stores in Quebec) was closed on Sundays- The day of rest. The mall has an array of of chain shops from the US, Canada and Europe. A very interesting place to check out. The shops range from high end shops to practical dollar stores. This is a great place to spend a killer cold winter weekend day. I try hard not to make purchases here as the exchange rate is not strong as it was in the 90's.

A must-see in Magog!…read more This is one of the most amazing shops I have seen in my life (and I've been to Paris). Luigi Sciorio (originally from Italy) designs and makes his most beautiful bags by hand, and every bag is unique and a piece of art. His workshop is right there, at the store. I feel like I am wearing a piece of jewelry when I am carrying one of his bags. Many people notice - the bag looks much more expensive than it is. And I must note the bags are quite affordable for what they are, given that it is natural leather. The quality and attention to detail are amazing. Not in many places we can buy hand-made quality goods (any more). The store has other brands too, and wonderful wallets, travel bags, and umbrellas. What else can I say? See it for yourself and say hello to Luigi.

The inside details and pockets are perfect as well as the convenient outer ones. The bag is elegant with two outer decorative panels that are beautiful highlights on the soft black leather. I'm looking forward to my next trip to this shop!

The sign is too small to notice from a far, and the location is dead centre of the downtown. It's sharing the building. So, you would never know unless you asked a local. This place isn't even mentioned on Google Maps or apps like Trip Advisor. Come on, Magog. If tourists and mobile workers don't know where to clean clothes in bulk, they will avoid longer stays in the area. And, the area is very nice.
