We had to send over 4 hours waiting for our contrats to be made…read more One we arrived home we noticed they gave us really expensive contrats, which was NOT what we agreed upon on. We then came back to the store to get some explanations. The manager basically insulted us. Would absolutely not recommend going there.

This is the local Mall in Sherbrooke. It has 200+ stores…read morewith Sears, The Bay, Zeller's. I remember when this mall ( and the rest of the stores in Quebec) was closed on Sundays- The day of rest. The mall has an array of of chain shops from the US, Canada and Europe. A very interesting place to check out. The shops range from high end shops to practical dollar stores. This is a great place to spend a killer cold winter weekend day. I try hard not to make purchases here as the exchange rate is not strong as it was in the 90's.

We like Simons for clothing for my wife. I am a tall American man and I can't fit into the clothes…read more Simons has stores across Canada but I believe it is primarily a Quebec chain. The fashions are very French and québécois. My wife loves the French stockings and that was the reason for this trip. She gets a lot of compliments on her stockings at work. There is also a very large women's clothing and accessories section and a smaller men's section. The women's section is always crowded with shoppers.

I do not give five stars often for anything, but this one came really close except for just one…read morelittle thing. We decided to go there, looking for something to do, and it popped up on TripAdvisor. A farm is not truly my thing, but this ended up being fun. The good: Host is passionate, caring about his animals, entertaining, includes everyone in the presentation, and is happy to answer questions. Good educational aspect. Presentations can be bilingual. Very cute shop. Very cute animals. You can even pet them (except their heads). High quality products. Can order by the web. The bad: No seating places outside during presentation (even benches would have been nice). Farm stench. Products prices are high if you are not prepared for it (but quality makes up for it, trust me). Covid restrictions: Signs and pump available for hands. No real social distancing in second part of farm. Nor the shop (being so small). I bought a pair of socks and there are truly a great quality. The visit was a great unexpected highlight in our day. Will definitely go back (probably for more socks, lol).

Joanne from the Tourist Center stated this was an incontournable, a must-see. She was correct…read more René, the awesome Alpaca farmer, gave us a highly informative, funny and engaging tour of his farm and his animals. It was quite apparent that he loves these animals as if they were his own children and as he interacts with him and his daughter, they demonstrate complete trust and love. The Alpacas are fun to watch and if you are quiet and calm, they will let you pet them. Just don't pet their heads-they don't like that. The clothing shop is full of gorgeous Alapaca wool skeins of yarn, knitted hats, mittens, fingerless gloves, scarves, socks (several different types and many patterns), sweaters, ponchos, slippers, insoles, and even a variety of different sized stuffed animals that are covered in the soft and fine wool. The prices are quite reasonable and the items are of highest quality and value. I bought ski socks and a hat; as I am highly sensitive to lanolin, I cannot otherwise wear wool. I can, however, wear Alpaca wool and look forward to the cold winter so I can do so! Expect to spend 1.5-2 hours here, learning about the farm, meeting the Alpacas, and then shopping. It's well worth it.
