Meat was scarce, the produce is near rotting and the fruit tastes terrible or no taste at all. Meat was scarce and produce terrible and all the no. Perishable stuff was crazy expensive. The parking lot is empty these days. I wonder what kind of loss they claim to stay in business. It also was not as clean as previously kept. For these prices, you would at least expect quality. Kwik trip for dinner. I only got eggs and a squash from this place. I it's third world quality. I feel sorry for the workers. They have to hear us and their management obviously is inept.

I found out that if any of your four tires is down to 5/32 they will not fix a tire or rotate your tires. The Chippewa Falls store says that it is Walmart rules. No other explanation. The lifetime wheel balance that they charge $14 would no longer be any good at 5/32. When you buy new tires they are usually at 10/32. You may get tires cheaper at Walmart but service and the way they treat people isn't good. They did put my spare on at no cost since I am handicapped and not able to do that. Will I buy tires or have oil change at Walmart ever? Not likely.

Wow. What a fun store. Bulk everything. This surprising store specializes in locally grown and…read morepackaged goods. The majority of items, if not locally grown and produced are from various Mennonite groups around the country and from across the state. Cloverdale carries the usual flours, sugars, bulk candies (national brands), along with rolled butter, honey from local farms within a 20 mile radius, as well as the honey with the honeycomb (good chewing gum), and more kinds of jellies and jams and preserves than I've seen outside a major chain grocery store and all with no (or few) preservatives. If bulk spices are your preference, Cloverdale also carries those. I found some bulk whole nutmeg -- something I've been looking for and which also gives me the ability to grate my own. And the mace from the outside of the nut is perfect for a slightly different flavor. If I lived in this part of the country, this store would be a regular stop for staples and spices and seasonings.

"Ma Na Ma Nah...do doo de doo doo--Menomonie!" (The Muppet Show)…read more Statler: "Is she singing? I thought she was choking!" Waldorf: "At her age, it's hard to tell the difference! DOHOHOHO!" If you just sang that ditty in your head like the Muppets, you're already in the right mood for a visit to the Menomonie Food Co-op Market. This market is as effortlessly fun and cool as Janice from Electric Mayhem, but with less trout pout and more lentil dip. "Fer sure!" Here are the highlights that you really don't want to miss! THE BREAD SITUATION: The artisanal rosemary sourdough loaf from One Love Bread is the stuff boy bands are made of. This bread is basically what happens if you roll Harry Styles in flour and water. It really deserves its own Manchester disco-dancing fan club, but for now I'll just sing its praises. DAIRY AND DAIRY ALTERNATIVES: I was totally NSYNC with this section. I'm not even sure what plants half of them came from, but they looked intriguing. Had I brought a cooler, my fridge would have undergone quite the calcium glow up! SODA ALTERNATIVES: This was the real Big Time Rush! We studied the sodas for a solid ten minutes like raccoons who'd discovered a vending machine. There are flavors and brands here I've never seen in the wild...some with names I can't pronounce (but absolutely bought)! The store was very clean and organized, and if the employees had been any friendlier, they'd have been covered in yellow feathers. In summary: great bread, fantastic selection, kind humans, and a soda aisle that deserves its own documentary. 5/5, will return. Probably for more bread. Definitely for more weird soda. Statler: "That was a long review!" Waldorf: "I wanted it to end five minutes ago! DOHOHOHO!" Ma Na Ma Nah.
