Even before I talk about the color I want to lift up that a) they use tech really well (I'm on Zoom calls from one end of the day to the other so picking up the phone and calling someone is super difficult for me most days). They responded to my inquiry through Yelp immediately, forwarded my request on to their stylists, and I had an appointment set up within a half hour max. Ended up with Stephanie and she was wonderful! While she was putting the color in I noticed she didn't apply any protective gel or vaseline ahead of time to protect my skin from the dye. I just figured, "Well, I'm not going to see anyone today, if I'm walking around with a dye headband, it's fine." Well, she didn't NEED to put anything on my skin to protect it because she's that good at what she does! The color came out great -- very natural and healthy looking, and really shiny. And not one drop of dye anywhere except for on the roots where it belonged. On top of all this, Stephanie was super nice, as was everyone who worked there. Loved the ambience, too -- the music was sort of 70s classic rock as was the decor. I'm hoping to be out in this area again in the coming year, and definitely plan to go back to them! The back of my head looked like they tried to do a really poor taper where it looked close to a bull cut while the sides and front were flush. Wish I coulda gotten my money back but I'm just never going to go back there. Sports Clips hasn't done me wrong where I used to live so I'll probably go to one in my area.
