I had my 2000 Cadillac break down in a parking lot and had it flat bedded to Fernette's. When I spoke to the owner he said he could take care of it and it won't be a problem. Since I kinda dropped it in his lap, I told him to take his time, that I was in no rush. A month goes by, no phone call. I had to call them. This went on for 5 months with me constantly keeping in contact because they wouldn't. Finally, today I received a phone call that they cannot fix the car and that I should come and pick it up. "But don't worry, we didn't charge you anything". Not only did they waste my time where I could have been using the car they were just very unprofessional. Do anything you can to stay away from this business. I wish the rating had a negative star because that's the only one I would give and they deserve. BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

I've been a happy customer of Fernettes for a few years, for my trucks and my family's cars. It's a family owned shop, decent people, and good to work with. I have found them to be a very honest shop and the work they have done on my vehicles has been excellent. While I try to plan ahead and make an appointment - it is a very busy shop, I have also rolled in right before a road trip to do some maintenance, and had trucks towed to them that needed significant work. I've had frame repair done, also a great job. Customer service here is really good, and these folks have taken care of me in a pinch and worked things out every time, so I am a long term customer for sure. Overall, this is probably the best shop I have been to. Highly recommended. read more

Absolutely never will we be bringing our vehicles to Fernette's ever again. It's unfortunate because when the father ran the shop, no complaints. The son (I'll avoid using his name)is running it now and he worked on our car. Our car broke down in December and the son said we could keep it at the shop for a few months til we came up with he cash to fix the car. At this point, I wish we just had it towed home. We were given a time when the car would be finished (1 week) we are only just now getting our car after more than 4 weeks. Every update with the car, we had to basically chase the son down to get updates and because he wasn't honoring the times or calling us to update, we had to call him over and over just to be told "oh hopefully next week". We understand it was a big job and apparently there's some staffing that quit, and there are other customers to work with, but we NEVER felt like a priority at all as we waited blindly in limbo for our car. When we realized the son was avoiding contact with us, and we confronted him, he told his daddy that we told him to "go /expletetive/ himself" (false) and I was told never to call the shop again (OK lol). The son's biggest issue is communication and incompetence. Why he runs the shop now, I've no clue. We have been going to Fernette's for about 6 years and still need more work done....someone else more competent will be getting our business in the future. $6k and their work ethics are as laughable as their ability to do competent work in a timely manner. They are laughably a joke. I recommend finding another mechanic; unless you wanna put any plans you have on hold until the son figures out customer service and cars. read more

Just a shoutout to the wonderful family at Frenettes auto. Being a single woman it was a pleasure to deal with someone with honor and integrity. I have always been treated wonderful and made to feel like family. I couldn't ask for more. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more
